Hello! Welcome to the weekend! Last night I made a Quest Bar Pop Tart and had to share the ‘recipe’. I used the coconut flavor because it’s not my favorite so I wanted to fancy it up.
Quest Bar Pop Tart
1. I smashed the bar. You can roll it with a rolling pin if you’re into proper baking etiquette. I might have stepped on it first to help the process (while in the wrapper). ‘’
2. Cut the bar in half and spread jam OR chocolate chips in the center of one. Top with other piece and use the back of a fork to press together.
3. Bake at 350 degrees for 5-8 minutes.
Enjoy!
Now you’ve seen a rainbow kitten poptart – RER has it all!
I started my Friday morning with a run with Jen. We’ve been trying to meet up for weeks and finally worked it out.
Post run I had a green smoothie right when I got home and did some cleaning around the house.
Green Smoothie Recipe: 1 scoop vanilla protein powder, ice, almond milk, spinach, half a banana.
After a bunch of productivity I made second breakfast – this egg sandwich with some deli turkey thrown in because I need to eat it before I go on a surprise trip tomorrow.
I got my nails done for the cause (the cause being I’m going out of town and want to be fancy pantsy). This is different from my usual bubble gum pink – it’s a pinky-tan with sparkles and I love it!
Take out for dinner! Except it’s more like “take in” right? Like, I took it in my out? Anyway.
Now I have to pack it up and out because I’m leaving tomorrow for a little spring break action! See ya later!

I can’t wait to try the Quest Pop Tart! I just got into Quest products lately and there’s so many delicious possibilities! Now I just have to decide what flavor I want to make it with!

For whatever reason (mainly because I’m an idiot and not awake yet), I read the title of this post as being one single thing… so I’m sitting here picturing a green smoothie with like chunks of strawberry Pop-Tart floating around wondering why on earth you would create such a monstrosity and then share it lol

The Quest bar Pop-Tart idea is brilliant! I have a banana bar that could use some sprucing up – I am thinking I’ll fill it with PB and Nutella. 😉

That would be magical 🙂

I had a pop tart once when I was a kid and thought it was gross, so I haven’t had one since. Since you are going on a surprise trip…my guess is Boston. 😉

That Pop Tart idea is awesome. I think most people know about at least microwaving them at this point, but this takes it to a whole new level!
Have a great trip!
