Road Trip from Home

Have you guys ever heard of Pea Soup Anderson’s? It’s a landmark restaurant in California known for their pea soup. Ben and I have been there on road trips up the coast. *I tried to link to it, but their site is down.

And The Girls Next Store went there on a recent episode – which reminded me I had a can of their delicious pea soup. foodies-1712

That, along with animal crackers…dscn7951

Today I went for it and ate cereal when I was hungry. foodies-1715

But, then I emailed the RD because I am conflicted about cereal. Cereal has always been my go-to over eating/binge food. And part of me thinks I should just avoid it all together until I get this IE thing down. I realize that certain foods, like ice cream for example, are best left for outings, but cereal isn’t something you can usually get at a restaurant. I don’t know what to do.

Outside of that it was a long day and involved a lot of food…foodies-1716

I went through a period of time where I would not keep any cereal in the house. It was not unusual for me to come home from work and eat four or five bowls. I’m now able to handle having it for the most part.
