20 Oct

I finally signed up for the RnR Los Angeles half marathon. Nothing like waiting till the last minute – the race is this weekend! But that’s how I roll and finally got it together mostly because SR put the pressure on me to get my life together. Except I don’t think she was talking about running… oh well. If you are still looking for races for this year my Rock N Roll Marathon / Half Marathon discount code is still valid for 2015 races! Use code RUNEATREPEAT15

Today I’m snacking on pumpkin spice granola. I love it.

My other meals aren’t very photogenic. This is why I don’t post food that much (considering how much I eat). Not pretty, but delicious.

My mushroom frittata was kinda pretty to look at and super delicious so I wanted to share a rough idea of the recipe.

1. Cooked up a bunch of onions, mushrooms and chopped bell pepper. Seasoned with garlic salt and pepper. Few dashes Tapatio.

2. Put in a sprayed pan with 4 eggs and 4 egg whites. Seasoned. Stirred in 1/2 cup garlic cheddar.

3. Baked at 350 degrees until almost set. Added 1/2 cup sharp cheddar and cooked until melted.

Health win: Saw my favorite flavor of Jelly Bellys and didn’t buy the big bag because I knew I’d eat them tonight.

my favorite jelly belly popcorn (450x800)

Now Vegas and I are watching TV. I love Whitney from My Big Fat Fabulous Life. She is awesome.

Aaaand I am so super excited about my new oil diffuser. I don’t know why I originally bought this (probably because it was on sale) but I finally opened it yesterday and put some water and lavender oil in it…. ahhhhhhh. It’s like a spa. Spahhhhhh.

Have you gotten on the oil diffuser band wagon?!

Question: Any races coming up?

I’ve been wanting to get an oil diffuser for awhile now, and I think I have finally convinced myself it’s worth it!

I love diffusing Young Living oils! There is an Aveda spa combo that makes my house smell like heaven. Then I also like to use Purification and Thieves to help rid the house of nasty germs that come with autumn colds in the northeast!

Good luck at the Rock N Roll! I’m doing the Surf 10 miler in Huntington Beach this weekend. Fingers crossed it isn’t as humid as it has been lately!

Marshall Marathon in WV! To say I’m prepared would be an understatement, but it should be a fun trip out of town! 🙂

After having a half marathon 6 Saturdays in a row (although one of them was black flagged 2.5 miles into because of storms), I’m sort of excited that I don’t have anything this weekend. I need to get my house back in order.

I’ve looked at oil diffusers and I haven’t convinced myself to drop the money on one yet. Are they really that great? Like how much area does it fill with scent?

Silly Vegas getting in front of the TV! My cats do this when there’s tennis or snooker on and try to catch the ball. Idiots! Cute idiots tho…

I’m pacing two friends in two separate 10ks in the next few months, I’m so excited to help them train and figure out their goal. Plus I know I’ll be a more reliable (and objective) pacer for them than I am for myself. It’s so easy to get caught up in race day excitement and throw all plans to the wind!

I’ve got the Halloween Hustle 5k on Thursday! I bought one of those wax warmers and brought it to work because having one of those at work has been one of my dreams. Well apparently I shouldn’t have put 4 cubes in like the picture shows because I was immediately asked to turn it off. Dreams dashed…Now I just enjoy it at home.
