I ran about 6 miles today and felt so good! I felt like I was going pretty fast, but I don’t know if I actually was.
There has been fires around southern California lately and I didn’t smell any smoke or anything so I thought it was fine to run. Well, I think I was wrong. Mid-morning at work I started to feel kinda sick – like my throat was scratchy and my chest kinda hurt. I don’t know why my body took so long to react, but the only thing that caused this I can think of is the bad air quality. Boo.
According to the South Coast Air Quality Management District the air was unhealthy for sensitive groups. You would like after living in LA my whole life I would be used to that.

Yeah, I don’t see how I didn’t notice it. As my little brother would say, I was in “La-La-Land”.

Aww I’m sorry the air quality made you feel gross after your run. Maybe you were so hyped up on adrenaline from your awesome 6 mi run that you didn’t notice your chest hurting or weird smells in the air.
