Run Eat Repeat

Running and All the Drinks, Not Alcohol Tho

Hello! How is 2014 winding down for ya? Mine is all about running and EATING, per usual. That’s how I like it.

sing to myself

This morning I drank all the drinks before my run. I am so random. The lineup includes:

running blog before run (800x600)

Hot tea – because I was cold

Water – because you need it to live

Pre-workout – because I’m trying a new product from Daily Burn

Iced coffee – because I love it.

running blog pre workout (600x800)

Running time!

running blog run (800x600)

Post-run I did a tiny bit of rollin’. I might have done this while a fixer guy was working on my heater.

post run (800x600)

Did I tell you that I mentioned to my dad about my new space heater and he asked why I didn’t want to just turn on the central heat. To which I responded, “I don’t have heat…”

Turns out…

I do. And I’m just the worst.

So someone came to look at it today.

Long story short – I am dumb and will just stick to running, blogging and eating fro-yo. The end.

In fun news, I saw this running motivation on my run and had to stop and take a picture. I guess there is a Team In Training group that was training on the same path I was and there was a few lil motivational messages for them. Love it!

And I have one random braid today. The End.

Question: If you are getting coffee or tea away from home – what’s your ‘go-to’ place?

I make all my tea at home because I am poor! 🙁 Haha.

Ugghhh, foam rolling is so good for me but I literally have to bargain with myself to do it!

I love the “3 miles to Starbucks” message! Wish someone would leave me those on my runs 🙂

Would to try out the hole-in-the-wall cafes/local cafes; am always surprised by the finds (in a good way I mean).

Starbucks!! I usually just get black coffee but I tried most of the seasonal flavors this year… Taste delicious but a little to sinful to drink daily.

There’s place in Flag called Macy’s and it is just the best. I get a Cappucino al la San Fransisco (they sprinkle chocolate on top of the Capp and its amazeballs). I try to stay away from chains / Starbucks. They just are not as good!

Have you tried any of the Advocate products pre-run? I freaking LOVE the 02 and then Spark while I run/after! 🙂

I like local little places, but I LOVE Starbucks. They closed all of the Caribou Coffees around here and replacing with Peet’s. I haven’t had Peet’s since I was in SF about 10 years ago, so I am excited for that too.

I like Starbucks, but really enjoy finding local coffee shops when out of town 🙂 it’s fun to meet people and the coffee seems to always be yummy!

How does the preworkout drink feel when you run? I’ve considered it but was afraid it would make me jittery or upset my stomach.

I’m very picky with my tea, so I prefer Starbucks if I’m out of town. I know I like theirs and Starbucks are everywhere, so I can usually find one!

I prefer local, small business cafes, not chains. So my local at work is a not-for-profit called Kinfolk, and at home is a cafe called Corinthians. I do occasionally grab a coffee at Coffee Club or Nashi – if I’m desperate for a caffeine hit.

Starbucks or Panera Bread are my go to coffee places. I don’t really drink tea much unless I am sick and then I just drink that at home. I love Bigelow teas.

I’ll go to Starbucks or I like to try a local tea shop. They usually have a great selection of teas.
