Running Motivation for the LAST Day of POTM

Running

26 Nov

Hello! It’s the last day of the Pile on the Miles Challenge! Did you rock it? Did it rock you?

I hit the road for a run in Florida this morning. It’s so flat here – I love it. I can run 10 miles and the elevation gain is 20 feet total. And the views cannot be beat! I didn’t see any manatees on this trip though. They are my favorite!

This was such great motivation! This morning, I decided to walk on the treadmill only, after too much Thanksgiving indulging. After the first mile, Bleachers “I wanna get better” came on, & I picked up the pace and ran for 3 more miles.

Turkey Trot 1/2 Marathon today 🙂 It started off COLD! So cold, in fact, that it took my body a while to actually warm up while running so it added quite the extra challenge! I would’ve loved to have broken 2 hours, but I was 17.7 seconds shy. Still finished strong so I guess I can’t complain too much, and there were sweet rolls & cookies sooooo…..
