Hello! It’s the last day of the Pile on the Miles Challenge! Did you rock it? Did it rock you?
I hit the road for a run in Florida this morning. It’s so flat here – I love it. I can run 10 miles and the elevation gain is 20 feet total. And the views cannot be beat! I didn’t see any manatees on this trip though. They are my favorite!

Motivation to Run
Here is some running motivation to get you out the door today. Take a look. Lace up. And go!

I have LOVED following along on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and all the comments.
I’ll share some of the comments that stuck out to me in the final post when I announce the winners. There’s still time to share your miles with #RERMiles

Thank you for motivating me all month long.
Did 10 mile long run!
Sundays are my rest days but with all the sitting I’ve done (hello, 15+ hours in the car over the last 3 days), I got in some stretching and foam rolling today.

Turkey Trot 1/2 Marathon today 🙂 It started off COLD! So cold, in fact, that it took my body a while to actually warm up while running so it added quite the extra challenge! I would’ve loved to have broken 2 hours, but I was 17.7 seconds shy. Still finished strong so I guess I can’t complain too much, and there were sweet rolls & cookies sooooo…..
5k walk with a friend this morning through some drizzle.
3 miles this sunny day. Cold but sunny. Loved this motivation so could have just done nothing this last couple of days!
REST DAY!!!
Today was boxing, my favorite cross training!
Thanks for doing POTM, it was nice to have some extra accountability, and I loved reading others check ins.
6.62 mile run and a weight session. I hate pull ups…. That makes 132 miles for this challenge and I added more weight training back into my schedule! Yay!

Another rest day for me, running 5 tomorrow!
I got 18,000 steps in. I ran four fast miles this morning, shopped for small business Saturday and ran errands.
30 minute Erg Circuit + 10 min rotation through 3 exercises + 20 minutes jumping rope
Love some of those quotes! This morning was a speedy 8.5…in a tank top! Not sure when that’s going to happen again – the snow is coming! Thanks for hosting a fun month – man that went by quickly!
No time for a lunch break today. So…rest day.
6.5 miles on the elliptical today. I think I finally got whatever was making my hip hurt under control so tomorrow will be a running day.

Despite my ingrown toenail saga from earlier this month, I would say I did pretty good! Thank you!
Today was 4 miles of intervals and some HIIT 🙂

Dragged a friend to Bikram.

Cold day I’m in the gym on eliptical..
Finished out the week with boot camp. Fun POTM!
I have family staying with us today, so ironically, the last day of POTM is my scheduled rest day. Tomorrow I’m running at least 7 miles, which will put me over my 100 mile Nov goal!
I ran a half marathon today and came in 3rd in my age group and 9th overall female!! Small races are the best:)
5 km parkrun for me today! I clocked a new NZ parkrun PB by one second, whoop!
Went on a rocky scrambly bike today 🙂
I did 5 miles at the beach and it was COLD. But its feels so good when you work up a sweat. Way to go everyone on your goals this month! As my mom always says, you gotta “move ya body”!
I woke up early and headed to the gym at 6 am to get back on track! It’s been two days of anything goes so it’s nice to be returning to normal.
Loved this challenge! It was SOOO motivating. I had to use up another spinning credit, so I did a 50 minute spin class today…definitely going to get back into the running next week 🙂
I didn’t join in POTM, but congratulations for the last day everyone! And great motivating quotes. 🙂

So much fun doing POTM! Forgot to check in Thursday, but I did a 5 mile turkey trot, and today I did .6 miles of walking to finish off a strength training session. Total miles this challenge – 62 miles of walk/run/biking! My goal was 50! Woo!
I have been running more this month than in the past 2 years. I am so excited about increasing mileage and getting faster…and possibly training for my first half marathon during the winter months. Today I plan on running a local trail, about 6 miles. Thanks so much for this challenge. It was awesome!

It took a lot of mental work to get today done, but 8 miles followed by leg day
So sad this is the last day. Yet….so tired. I made a big goal and, phew, it was a challenge. But so glad I did and I am so thankful you do Pile on the Miles. Makes for good habits during the cold, dark, winter hell. Lots o’walking and biking today.
5 miles, walk/jog mix, yayyyy!
I did a 6.2 mile tempo run and the 0.8 mile cool down today. I have 200.6 miles total for POTM. Thanks for doing the POTM challenge! It’s great to have some motivation, and I enjoyed seeing what everyone is up to.
I’m in my running attire and waiting for my phone to charge just a little more to last me for a 5 mile run.
Hi Monica – really enjoyed POTM. My final update: 95 minutes on the elliptical.
