Run Eat Repeat

Something is missing…

I know I ate stuff I didn’t take pics of yesterday and now I can’t remember what! I do have a vague memory of a fun size candy bar, too much hummus sampling while making it and too many chocolate chips when making cookies…Busted. So, realize something or really, somethings are missing from my daily.

I started the day with some repeats and them breakie, which was an Alternative Bagelwith PB and naner. foodies-462

I felt snacky mid morning even though I wasn’t hungry so I ate some fruit because I figured it wouldn’t do that much damage. I really want to get to a place where I am really listening to my hunger and practicing intuitive eating, but it is a hard process.

foodies-463I ate a ton of hummus while making a big batch. Seriously, I was not hungry at all for lunch. But I figured I would get hungry soon if I started working and I needed to eat now and move on with my day. I made a sammie filled with hummus and veggies. So good.foodies-460My afternoon snack was greek yogurt with pumpkin butter and granola. This is my latest obsession. I cannot get enough of this combo lately.foodies-466Since I was working from home I had time to actually make dinner. I love cooking and it is very frustrating that I don’t have enough time to cook during the week. I hate that I get home so late from work and am too hungry or stressed from the day/traffic to actually make something. Anyways, today I roasted brussel sprouts, acorn squash and made baked tofu. I was super excited for my “real” dinner.foodies-467

The BF is taking some classes for his Master’s and they are totally stressing him out. He called me on the way home from his midterm and said he would be stopping in for a surprise visit. I knew he was already on his way and had a very bad day so I quickly threw together chocolate chip cookies. I didn’t make any “healthy” substitutes in the recipe and just halved the recipe on the back of the choc chip bag. Unfortunately, since I didn’t have time to let the butter get to room temp like the directions called for I microwaved it instead and made it way too watery. The result was super flat cookies. They still tasted good, but it was obvious something was wrong with them from looking at them. Oh well. I tried. I ate choc chips and 1 cookie. foodies-468
