Thanksgiving Challenge

So, I decided to take the Thanksgiving Challenge proposed by Kath. Well, it is going to be harder than I thought. I am giving myself 20 bucks a week because it is just me technically, but realistically I am always at my mom’s or BF’s and I bring food over to their places which others eat.

Luckily I do have a few staples to start off with. I went to Trader Joe’s for this stuff and spent $9.50. It was only 5 things and I spent half my budget!foodies-418

Then, today I went to the Farmer’s Market and spent $10.00 on produce. I had to buy the bargain stuff because my money was not going as far as I wanted. Some of the bagged goods like the brussels, bell peppers, zucchini and onions were only a dollar each bag! I couldn’t get much fruit though. I am going to be out of fruit by Friday and can’t buy more until Sunday! I might have to breakdown and just get a couple of pieces of fruit for the weekend.foodies-4431
