That new coffee smell

21 Jul

I worked at Starbucks for 2 years in college. I have always loved the smell of coffee, but not the taste. This kinda sucked since I had access to all the coffee/espresso I wanted while working. Plus they would give us one pound of free coffee a week! To this day I am not a regular coffee drinker, but I do pour myself a cup in cold weather to keep warm 🙂 Well, I actually needed it for the caffeine today! I’ve been going on 6 hours sleep for the last week and I’m dying. It’s brutal to stay awake & that’s kinda important with the new job and all. So, today I walked next door to the Dunkin Donuts for a coffee. This is a pic I found since my memory card is being difficult. I really want to try their egg flat bread sammies now! dunkindonuts

Oh, and I will post the Salmon patty recipe tonight 🙂 I’m excited for leftovers!

Marathon Training: The plan called for 6 miles with hills today. The hills I found were pretty gentle rolling ones, just like I like it.

I love Dunkin Donuts coffee! I’ve never tried any of their sandwiches, but the coffee gets two thumbs up from me. 🙂

I love reading your blog but never comment. I don’t have much to say other than, if you don’t drink coffee now I would keep it up! I am on day three of no coffee as I don’t want to be addicted to it any more and it’s not easy. I hope you are having a good day!

I really like the DD flatbreads! Of course I have to supplement that with a munchkin or eight.

D & D is everywhere in Rhode Island (where I’m from) and the civic center is actually called the dunkin donuts center. Mark gets those flatbread things all the time and likes them v. much.

I’ve tried the DD flatbread sandwiches a few times & they’re ok, but they were a little too “bready” for me. They need ketchup or something to make things a little less dry.
