Hello! I had plans to help at a local race last night (Ragnar SoCal) but my plans got changed at the last minute and it didn’t work out. Boo. But I have a lot of stuff to do with writing deadlines and spring cleaning so I decided to be efficient. What? Is that the sound of you being super jealous of my spreadsheet making, house cleaning Friday night? #blessed
Since I was home and had the time I decided to bake. See, total wild Friday around here!
Since I am occupied with eating and running and cleaning and having in depth conversations with Vegas about the benefits of cryo-therapy I am going to leave you with some weekend reading. First my favorite posts from this month.
Here are my best RUN, EAT and post I’d like to REPEAT for March 2016
My favorite run of the entire year so far has to be the Jerusalem Marathon.
I am really proud of myself for going to Israel alone (in that I didn’t know anyone else on the trip). I am proud of myself for running a very hilly race. I’m proud of myself for being brave when I was scared (of the hilly race, of being alone on a plane for 15 hours, of a lot of things…).
My favorite EAT
This has to be all the food in Jerusalem too. I loved that there was hummus at every meal. I loved that breakfast had tons of veggies. I loved the wine on the plane ride home…
Honorable Mention:
Fondue at Home! <- It was easy and delicious and cheese and bread. What more do you need?
My favorite post I’d like to REPEAT:
The trip to the Holy Land really touched my heart. I don’t feel the same as before. I can’t describe how it felt to stand in the same places Jesus walked and carried His cross. I feel that I want to make some things in my life right. I’m still struggling with some major issues, but I have faith it’s going to be okay.
