The New Elote Man

Uncategorized

FacebookTweetPin
14 May

I’ve mentioned it before, but Pico has the Elote Man (and this is why Pico is better than most places). The elote man pushes a shopping cart around honking a horn to tell you he’s in the neighborhood.

The shopping cart holds a huge pan with corn. He puts it on a stick and slathers on butter, mayo, parm cheese and chile. For a dollar (okay, now it’s two dollars, but worth every penny).

This is the Elote Girl, but not because I make them, because I eat them.Yes, I eat corn I bought from a shopping cart covered in butter and mayo. What of it?monica eating corn

It wasn’t the same, but Ben made elotes tonight. I put butta and parm cheese on mine. I considered mayo (like a traditional one has) but thought better of it. That or I was too lazy to get up and get it.IMG_7981

Review of the Elote Man on Yelp. I concur.

Play by play post of an elote being made.

And this my friends, is why Mexicans are chill  – because we buy and sell  elotes (corn on the cob) and raspados (snow cones) from a shopping cart for a dollar.

“Si Se Puede eat corn with mayo and chili!”

I thought it was going to be some boring old post, but it really compensated for my time. I will post a link to this page on my blog. I am sure my visitors will find that very useful.

No, it will not allow you to keep your body healthy and 600 calories your body depreivation mode, and you have nothing to lose, your body will not process. Continue with your drawing and maybe what you’re in the same amount of calories burned, not what you keep your calories recorded over 1500 and you’ll be more about what you do not burn your calories work and keep the weight.

      Yum, those sound really good.
We used to live in southern Arizona, very close to Nogales and there was a lady who sold tamales in the Safeway parking lot.
I never bought any, mostly because I’m a freak about food safety and pretty much never buy food from anyone in a parking lot, but I’m sure they were REALLY good tamales.
