Thursday Thoughts…

Hello! How’s your life?

Today I did part of Jillian’s Abs II and a 3 mile walk. Saw this on the stroll which made me wish I ran…motivation to workout

Thursday Thoughts

Okay I need your thoughts on something very important…

Last week my brother and I were talking and he said he has cankles on his arms – as in, his wrist and hand just kinda flow together. But we don’t know what to call it?! Wrands? Forehand?

So I need your thoughts – what do we call this condition? *Note this is my veiny arm, not his.

IMAG1314 (800x450)

I’d like to take a minute to thank my Mom for the abnormally large hands and feet, hopefully I’ll have athletic Serena Williams kinda babies and it’ll be worth all the embarrassement.

Question: Have you ever gotten a card from your brother that says, “Sorry about your cankles.” ?

Because I have.

THIS IS YOUR YEAR.

I haven’t gotten a card about that, but I got a birthday card from my Grandma once that read “happy birthday sweetie, Petie died” in reference to her bird… and I too have extremely veiny hands or “crack hands” and feet as my boyfriend calls them… and my swimmers are a size 9.. in most shoes, and I’m only 5’3″ . . ..

That looks like so much fun, I need a good hike in the sunshine! I think that will be another month away here in Minnesota.

Uhh yeah, I was 13 when my 16 year old sister tactfully said “oh… Wow you have cankels” I was 5’5″ and 95lbs (lol to jr high/pre-adolescence days). I’ve never been the same since!

It’s a sad fact I’m forced to live with.

My arm/wrist looks just like yours. I have huge hands. No idea where they came from everyone else has small fingers but me and now my oldest daughter.

I used to wear size 12 and when I lost weight my feet got “skinny” and now I’m an 11 with really narrow heels. When people say I have big feet, I counter with – if I was this tall with small feet, I’d tip over.

Love the sidewalk chalk! I kinda wanna do that outside of my house now just so I can see people get all pumped up and inspired when they read it! Except, knowing my neighbors they will just make a snarky face in the general direction of my house with that whole, “why the hell is she always so freaking happy?!” look they tend to give me…

I luckily do not have cankles, wrands or a heck (though I agree with the person who said that is the worst of the 3). Love the card … if I had a brother, I would hope he would send me that card 🙂

the embarrassing thing of my life!

I love the chalk art! My brother is 23 and in the midst of finishing grad school and taking the CPA exams and sent me a picture yesterday that said “Damn Girl Back that thing up” “Or you’re gunna lose all your files” HUMOR.

I have small feet (size 4.5-5) and smaller hands for my smaller body, haha. I don’t quite know what my response would be if I got a card like that. 😛

I think I need someone to go through my running route and write inspiring messages for me. That’s actually a cute idea for something to do for a hometown race if you want to cheer on the runners in a different way. It sounds like you have a pretty great relationship with your brother. 😉 Happy weekend!

      Hi Monica,
I love you site. It’s brilliant. It really is – I can see you love what you do here.
Now to your feet – I gotta say I actually really like them. I think they’re pretty. No cankels or wrands here but I do have broad feet 🙂
      Thanks for a fantastic site.

My sister once told me i have fat thumbs. It wasn’t in a mean way, it was just a conversational “you have fat thumbs.” Then she told me not to worry, cause we all do… I’m still unsure of this though.
I vote for wrands all the way. Has a good ring to it.
Also, i haven’t tried part 2 of six week six pack yet. Part one pretty much kills me, so i’m kind of terrified of part 2. Is it as scary as i’m imagining?
