Run Eat Repeat

Two Weeks Notice

Lunch

I have good news and bad news about my knee…

The bad news is – my physical therapist is moving to Canada in two weeks!!! Boo. I really like her too 🙁 and I have only been working with her for two weeks so far.

The good news is – both my PT and I are super motivated to get me back to running in two weeks! I’m very very excited to run again.

I have been good about not running, I even surprised myself! It was so tempting to bust out just a few miles when I was in CA, but I didn’t let myself. I know it would only set me back further. I wish I had that kind of willpower to avoid cookies!

Kickboxing this morning was wonderful. I really love that class 🙂 Since I don’t normally run with music it’s so fun to exercise to Lady Gaga – love it!

Then, I hit up Costco and TJ’s. I also stopped by Road Runner to take a picture of the pepper spray I have. This one is about $12.00. Here it is:IMG_5964

Lunch was quick and dirty – first I took my almost empty hummus container and filled it with lettuce, carrots, tomatoes, veggie burger, ketchup and more hummus.IMG_5967

Wa-la! Salad in a hummus container = Oats in a Jar (but for lunch)!IMG_5968

I also ate a serving and a half of Food Should Taste Good chips and some grapes while out and about.

After Physical Therapy I hit up Dunkin Donuts for a large iced coffee. I am dragging a bit today.IMG_5973

Then, I packed a PB&J sandwich to eat while babysitting. This sandwich is the perfect combo of satisfying and sweet. IMG_5977

My big plans for this evening include eating dinner with my guy and relaxing. I’m excited for both!

I’m also excited to start planning my race calendar once I am cleared to run. I’m thinking May is a good time for a half marathon…

THIS IS YOUR YEAR.

That’s great that you’ll be running soon! Too bad your PT is moving to Canada … I’m worried about the day my PT has to move away. Her husband is in the military and she thinks they’ll be leaving soon.

I love Food Should Taste Good chips! They’re so hard to find where I am, though. I always stock up when I find them. 🙂

Cheers to two more weeks! Thanks for posting the running pepper spray. I am going to ask my running store if they have it in stock.

      Only two more weeks! 😀
Delicious eats, as always. I´ve always wanted to try a PB+J…
Maybe when I go back to the U.S…
      😉
      Have a great weekend, girl!

Random Question: Do you LOVE your red hair? My fiance and his sister both have (well, he had- is now bald) gorgeous red hair. He hates it, I LOVE IT! You are just like his sister- a gorgeous redhead. Just curious as to whether or not you love it.

Apologies for my total randomness! haha!

I love it, but my brother hated it. He even tried to dye it brown in high school (it looked maroon). I think it’s harder for boys with red hair.

Oh yea- Ryan would kill me if he saw this, but he used to get highlights! Mind you, he rocked that long-curly-baseball-player-messy look, which he loved, just hates being, as he calls it, a ginger! 🙂 I’m glad you embrace how hot it is! 🙂
