Fun

3 Mar

Hello! How’s your day going? I am about to jump on a Skype call in 3 seconds but wanted to say a quick hello first and see what you’re up to today! And I wanted to talk about something very serious – what to do if your cat runs away…

1. Lace up your running shoes and go look for him.

Done.

2. Stop and smell the flowers to see if he’s hiding.

Done.

3. Have a snack because all that running and searching makes you hungry!

4. Take a shower because maybe he left because you stink?

Cute! Something similar happened to me 2 days ago with my quiet older chihuahua. She doesn’t bark unless there is a “threat” or cat around. And when she is awake, she follows me everywhere. Well, that day, she followed me into my spare bedroom (which is my walk-in closet), and I didn’t see her in there, so I shut her in there for awhile. She was so excited to get out! 😉

Jeez! I was really worried… So glad he was just taking a cat-nap. This is why my cat is an indoor only cat — and I still freak when I can’t find her. Luckily she comes (eventually) when I call her. She plays fetch too. She’s my cat-dog. LOL

So funny! I have totally done this and stressed out about my dog running away, only for her to be laying on my bed in the wide open like a caterpillar. I’m all like-‘why didn’t you answer me when I was frantically screaming your name????’ Glad kitty is okay! 😉

Phew! At least you found him. We ‘lost’ our dog Angus one day, and turned out we’d accidentally locked him in the walk in closet. Oops!

Did you really think he ran away? Growing up we had a cat and there were construction guys putting in a bathroom in my parents bedroom. They left the front door open and we thought the cat ran away. Turned out he was so scared he got into the floor (they had ripped up the floor and had exposed beams) and stayed there a few days. He crawled out covered in saw dust. Cats are crazy weird. And they sure do have 9 lives
