I have a lot to do before we leave for Belize:
- – Organize Closet
- – Wash Clothes
- – Pack
- – Go to the store for toiletries
- – Reserve: Shuttle to 2nd location
- – Research Activities/reservations
- – Set up posts and guest posts while I am away
- – Mail TY cards – no, I am still not done with this 🙁
Vacations can be a lot of work – at least until you actually get there!
I ate the first part of my lunch – watermelon around 11am. Maybe this can be considered a mid-morning snack? Does it really matter?
Lunch was all packed up in a tupperware: Veggie wrap with lots of hummus, carrots, pretzels and a pickle that stunk up my office.
I also packed yogurt and granola. I have not been feeling yogurt lately – I need to switch it up or something. Yogurt is one of my go-to protein sources since I don’t eat meat, but I’ve been almost making myself eat it lately.
I get sad when people die, even if I don’t know them. Since I work in a newsroom we have one TV turned to CNN all day and all they’ve been talking about is the death of Sen. Kennedy. It’s just sad.

Love all your snacks.lunches in tupperwares, so organized and planned out! I wish I could prepare like that, that would minimize snacking so much:) Good luck with a to-do list and Belize sounds amazing!

i know what you mean about planing for vacations being hard work and slightly stressful! just remember how relaxed you will be when you get there!

I know what you mean about Ted Kennedy. Living in MA, it’s everywhere. i kind of wish it just wouldn’t be, because the Kennedy’s are a family like any other and need some privacy at this point

I was going to suggest cottage cheese too. I eat a lot of cottage cheese.
The story on Ted Kennedy is really sad. I grew up on Cape Cod and know the people there are really feeling the deaths of Eunice Kennedy Shriver and Ted Kennedy so close to one another. I’m in Boston now, so all the local stations are showing nothing else.

Good idea Emily 🙂

Try cottage cheese instead of the yogurt. I find it to be pretty interchangeable anywhere I would use yogurt. It’s my all time favorite mixed with cinnamon, berries and cereal. I’ve thought of putting it in the food processor, too, to change the texture. But personally, I don’t mind the chew factor 🙂

It’s super sad, it’s on every news channell here in Boston. He was a good man.
