My New Orange Shirt

Uncategorized

I happened to stumble upon a Nike running shirt on the Clearance rack at RoadRunner this weekend. It’s hard for me to find shirts that I think are long enough and this one is the longest I’ve seen so far. And it’s Orange! IMG_1079

I love it 🙂 I normally shy away from shirts that show my sweat loud and proud, but I’ll make an exception for my new orange friend. (I think I miss my orange hair.)IMG_1076 What made me sweaty? 6 slow miles. My legs are screaming for some stretching or yoga. Super tight 🙁

I have a whole bunch of bananas that suddenly got ripe overnight and require eating. So today’s breakfast incorporated a whole naner and I shoved one in Ben’s backpack as he left for work 🙂

Who eats 7 grapes? Not me. I ate another 47 in addition to this that missed the camera.IMG_1081

I have a super busy day so I’ll see ya later!

**I’m working on my injured knee update post and know some of you have been asking questions about it. If you want me to address something specific please leave it in the comments or email me at [email protected]

Why is it so hard to find decent running shirts?! It’s a struggle to find a shirt that I like, that doesn’t ride up, that doesn’t look like a dress, and doesn’t chafe. I’ve got some great shorts, capris, and pants, but the shirts are tough to come by.

I have the same problem. Either shirts are way too short or waaaaay too long. I’m 5’4” but I’m all torso! Poor short little legs! 😉

I love it when my bananas all ripen! Means I can chop them up and make lots of smoothies and banana soft serve!

    How tall are you?

Nike is one of the only brands that fit me right. Not good for my wallet though!

I’m only 5″6, but I like longer shirts. Yeah, on the clearance rack it was still $34.00!!! Ridic.

You know where I find has the BEST longer shirts? The Under Armour outlet. Not the regular store, the outlet. They have them in a zillion colors (I don’t have an orange one though) and they are just long enough. If you have a UA outlet near you, check it out!

I want to know how long it took you to heal from your knee injury? How long before you could run again and do you still have pain?

It’s so hard to find long shirts, isn’t it? I hate that about running shirts. Good find!

I like the shirt! Orange is such a happy color.

I also eat many grapes. I feel an urge to eat many handfuls every time I open the fridge.

It is a great color for contrast, safety is something, sometimes you just need something shouting “I’m here” so drivers actually see you.

I’m with you on the loud shirt colors for workout gear. I rarely buy neutral colors – probably because a lot of my profession wardrobe is in blacks, browns, greys, etc. I like lots of neon for running to keep me motivated!

I’m with you on the grape eating. Those suckers are sneaky like that…
