Happy Tuesday! Let’s back up to yesterday…
I had an evening shift at work so I ate dinner before. I made a massive egg scramble and roasted veggies. My afternoon snack was a piece of toast with PB so I opted out of bread in this meal. It’s a miracle.
I also baked some pumpkin protein bars that were inspired by Jamie Eason’s recipe. I don’t think I’ve ever followed a recipe now that I think about it…
Ben actually liked them! (In hindsight I’m not too happy about this because I wanted them all for myself.)
When I got home from work I had some yogurt and cereal. We have ice cream in the freezer and I had this –> today is full of miracles!
Then, I stayed up too late watching the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Reunion. I can’t get enough of that train wreck. And why is everyone so freakin’ mean to each other?!
This morning I caught up on emails while nursing my drink…
And 5.75 miles later I had more eggs.
I’m sure I’ll turn into an egg soon. I just hope it’s a Cadbury Crème egg
I forgot to draw a winner for the Orville Snack Pack! (Check out the comments for a ton of great snack ideas!!)
The winner is: Jessica: jessicaterry2@ email
You still have time to enter the Vega contest here.
February is National Heart Month and Quaker Oats has offered to donate $500 to my local American Heart Association if we get 100 comments on this post.
The partnership between Quaker and the American Heart Association is to educate women on how to Nourish What Counts. We’re busy, but you can do something good for your heart in just five minutes a day. For ideas check out the Nourish What Counts page on their site.
And FIVE of you will win a box of Quaker’s new Heart Healthy cereal just for commenting!
How do you nourish what counts? Does heart shape cereal taste better than O’s? Do you wear red on Valentine’s Day?
Contest ends tomorrow 2/8 at 8am PST. Open to residents of US and Canada.Quaker is providing me with a $250 donation to my local American Heart Association chapter; my opinions are entirely my own.

I kind of want to go find that cereal just to eat it with the hubby on V-Day.
Also, I totally stayed up late watching the RHOBH Reunion Part 2. What I don’t understand is that they all act like they like each other on the show and then hate each other on the reunion (Adrienne, I’m talking to you. Although I do like your purple-y/blue dress sleeve ensemble.)
