Hello! How are you doing?
I’m doing pretty good, but snacking is still a challenge this week. My sweet tooth is out of control! Not surprising, but still frustrating.
Luckily, a rep from Quest Bar protein bars sent me two boxes of delicious treats to snack on! I have a variety box and a whole box of chocolate chip Quest Bars.
Um, the Chocolate Chip protein bar is THE BEST bar I’ve ever had. You can even microwave it for 12 seconds and it tastes like a chocolate chip cookie fresh from the oven. Mmmm.
Added bonus: They are gluten free, have about 200 calories and have about 20g of protein (depending on the bar)!

Today for lunch im having a recipe of Basil Chicken! It is so yummy! Then i am making griled cheese sandwhiches for my kids using Ezekiel bread!
I had lettuce wraps with tuna, avocado, and cucumbers.
And also a piece of some homemade trio bars that are absolutely delish. so hard to stop at one xD
i had a beast salad with jalapeno hummus and crackers. soooo good
I had a quinoa salad with eggs, chicken, carrots, and parsley!

I think I forgot to eat lunch today (unless you count a string cheese and a reese’s) but I had a chicken quesadilla for dinner. It was delicious!

I LOVE QUEST bars: I have been eating the coconut cashew ones for about a year, and have never seen the cookie dough version!
Lunchers: the usual Salad Bar at work caf with chicken, roasted eggplant, and a whole bunch of other veggies.

Sadly, a Smores Balance bar (delicious!) and a banana in between meetings. But I do get to have an awesome farm-to-table dinner tonight in Chicago which makes it all worthwhile!

Well I totally gave into a pregnancy craving and had a peanut butter sandwich with nacho doritos inside. Yes, inside the sandwich. It gives the sandwich the best crunch!! I did have a banana and water to accompany it, but it was oh so good!!
My lunch was leftover rice with slices of cheddar cheese melted over and a nectarine. I am a major grazer through and nibbled on nuts and more fruit shortly after.

I was going to have left-over chili, but my husband got to it before me, so I ended up having a bowl of beef barley soup and a side of tortilla chips and hummus.

Whoooooo! Quest bars! I had a ginormous salad topped with egg, beets, sweet pickles, hot peppers, cukes, carrots, and light ranch dressing. Soooooo good. 🙂 I am the salad Queen.

Trader Joe’s all the way! Reduced fat Greek salad with a side of egg white salad (ranchero of course) and Fage Greek Yogurt (a staple).
Had leftover squash soup I made with curry, squash, smoke spices, carrots, bell peppers, celery, and chickpeas! Topped with goat cheese and so good! I think I’ll have to make some more! Love all these lunch ideas people have posted. 😉

I eat a Hugh jass salad nearly every day for lunch. Tomorrow will be spinach salad with edamame, green beans, feta, carrots, avocado, beets, and homemade balsamic dressing.
I had la tortilla factory one large tortilla with red beans and brown rice.

K-cup iced coffee and parmesan tomato basil soup.
Out for Thai with the husband. Fresh spring rolls and cashew stir fry. Mmm.

Today I had a spicy black bean burger on a lavash wrap with chimichurri sauce and a grapefruit. Tomorrow, I’m planning on an english muffin with a Dr. Praeggers spinach pancake, onion & chive laughing cow cheese, and a cucumber. Lunches always have to be quick and easy at work.
It’s been too long since I’ve had a Dr. P burger. So tasty!
For lunch I had a salmon and shrimp spinach salad with fresh veggies. It was so yummy! And a rocky road protein shake for dessert!
I had a piece of grilled chicken (with hot sauce!) and a brown rice cake topped with white chocolate wonderful peanut butter & chia seeds. I know it is a strange combination…I intended on having the chicken with a sweet potato but by the time I had to leave for an appt. it still wasn’t cooked so I had to improvise! 🙂

I’m in New York right now, so my lunch was a classic sandwich and soup from an NYC style deli. Mmmm, doesn’t get any better than that!

I mean for lunch I had a delicious juicy homemade turkey burger topped simply with mustard and relish and wrapped in boston lettuce. On the side I had slices of avocado and oddly enough also some brussel sprouts. (the brussel sprouts where leftovers if you couldn’t tell lol)

I ate a salad with romaine, onion, tomato, green pepper, and pickles. I had some delicious Caesar dressing to top it off and an apple on the side.
I really need to go grocery shopping–lunch was an apple, almonds, and a couple of oatmeal banana bites I made on Sunday.
Unfortunately, my stomach wasn’t feeling quite up to par, so I had some pomegranate Chobani and some pretzels. Hopefully, tomorrow’s lunch is a little more interesting!
Sadly a Diet Dr. Pepper and a protein bar. Running around during lunch meant it was a grab and go kinda nonmeal-meal.

Just a boring turkey sandwich for lunch. I haven’t tried the chocolate chip quest bars, but the brownie one is really good too! I also warm it up in the microwave for a little bit-hits the spot when you’re craving something sweet!

I had lunch with my sister in laws and our newest addition to the family, a baby girl named Emma, 3 months old. We made a healthy chopped salad with black beans and avocado. My sister in law made the best dressing: 1) 1 cup of plain yogurt, 2) a packet of ranch dressing mix, and 3) a 1/4 of a packet of taco seasoning mix. Put them all together and you have yummy! So, I had a great, healthy lunch, with great company!

I had a sweet potato with 2T of peanut butter, 1 cup of nonfat greek yogurt with thawed frozen cherries, and a serving of perky jerky! Totally random and delicious 🙂
I had an already made salad of red pepper, chorizo, poached egg and pasta. It was 300 calories and absolutely delicious!!
Quinoa and black bean chili that I made last night with whole wheat toast… yay meatless protein!

Yum! Quest Bars are the only protein bar that is “clean” without fillers! The chocolate peanut butter flavor is awesome. I made chicken taco soup for lunch today!

Chocolate/peanut butter smoothie. 1 cup unsweetened almond milk, 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter, 1 tablespoon Hershey’s chocolate syrup, 1 scoop vanilla protein powder & ice. Yum!!!

I just ate a wonderful lunch! Brown rice, peach salsa, black beans, corn, low fat cheddar cheese, and roasted butternut squash! I also had some nuts, dried fruit, and an apple!

For lunch today: I am having 3.5oz turkey muffin with a salad and 3.0 oz of baked yam….Yummmm…I baked the yams for an hour and 20 minutes and they are sooooo soft!

Sigh, I have to confess – I had a Clif bar for lunch. I spent my lunch hour grocery shopping and yet ironically that left me no time for a real lunch before I had to head back to work. I usually have a PB&J or omelet.

For lunch I am having … A wrap with turkey breast, avocado , saracha sauce, spinach, and a wedge of laughing cow cheese! On the side I am having a bunch of yummy raw veggies and a new favorite / find.. Some garlic stuffed kalamata olives!! OMG they’re sooo good. And the weather is finally starting to warm up and I’m loving every second of it. Sun = Long walking days!!!

Then you scroll down and see all the nutritional listing for each bar and almost ALL of them list Sugar Alcohol!!!!? WTF?
I need to try these dang bars already. They seem to be all over the blog world lately. I’ve had the same lunch all week. It’s getting old, but here it is: Salad with tomatoes, cucumber, bell pepper, avocado, kidney beans, cottage cheese & balsamic and an apple. 🙂

I live quest bars!!! I’m actually having their chocolate brownie flavor for lunch today with blackberries. I’m going to be driving to a work location and figured that be my best option for lunch while driving!

Yay, Quest! I recently started eating them; they’re the only protein bar I’ll touch! I do IF, so my lunch is my first meal of two for the day. Today, I’ll probably have a twice-baked sweet potato with kale and broccoli, plain Chobani acting as a sour cream topping and some shredded cheddar cheese, alongside a Morningstar turkey burger and kale + spinach salad. Mmmm, is it lunch time yet?!

KALE! Had Kale for the first time last night and I’m having it in a salad with other veggies and avocado today. Kale is very… sturdy.
I work the night shift 3x a week and so my eating is kind of screwy the day after working. I usually don’t eat much…just lots of coffee… until dinnertime.
But for dinner I am grilling chicken and roasting b-nut squash, sweet potatoes and carrots.

I packed a wrap made with left over grilled chicken from dinner last night, with spinach, laughing cow, and honey mustard for lunch today. Can’t wait to dig in!

I am having Greek yogurt with honey, and a big pile of raw carrots and red peppers with hummus. A protein bar would be SUCH a great addition, especially chocolate! 🙂

Homegrown sweet tater, pinto bean, collards, and sharp cheese burrito. I make a huge batch, freeze them individually, and then have them everyday for lunch. It makes getting out the door to work much easier.
I will have a sandwich of some kind but I never decide which kind until I get to the cafeteria.

Lunch was bad!!! Grilled cheese! But hey I just walked for an hour and did an hour Pilates class so…:)
For lunch I’m finishing my Greens Jamba Juice smoothie and having a turkey burger. Just thinking about it makes me hungry. I can’t wait to track down some Quest bars and taste them for myself.
I’m having a monster salad with spinach, onion, tomato, zucchini, bell pepper and topped with some leftover taco chicken from our dinner last night… Plus a plum! I would love to win this–Quest bars are my favorite!!

Well, I’ll tell you what my snack was! It was a quest bar! Chocolate chip cookie dough! It seriously is the best flavor. I snatched the last two at my local GNC. I’m going back today to see if they have more! I’m going to have tuna mixed with mashed avocado and roasted veggies!! Oh I hope I win 🙂

My lunch today is going to be a little of this a little of that. Some chicken, cottage cheese, tomatoes, peppers and carrots. It’s the end of the week so my lunches aren’t as planned.

I am having half of a burrito bowl from Chipotle, with chicken, pinto beans, white rice, corn salsa, sour cream and guacamole!
My refrigerator is looking pretty sad, so probably some random fruits and veggies and maybe an egg. It’s gonna be one of those snack plate lunch days!

I have a HUGE sweet tooth! It’s my biggest challenge! For lunch I’m having a turkey burger (no bun) with lots of broccoli and carrots on the side.

So glad you tried Quest bars!! I think I suggested them a while back on another of your entries because I agree that they are THE BEST THING EVAR…. or else I am having a memory fail and am making that up 🙂
Anyway – on today’s menu for lunch is a tub of TJ’s egg white salad and a whole wheat pita covered with (a likely inordinate amount of) hot sauce.
Probably will stop by and get a couple of beef empanadas for lunch. So are these even better than Mesotech Peanut Butter protein bars . . . best testing bars I have ever had. Unfortunately not always easy to find in stock locally.

For lunch today I’m having a big salad with chicken and egg and lots of veggies and an avocado dressing. I made muffins last night so I’ll probably have some of those and some almonds too. I’m in the last few weeks of training for Boston and I feel like I’m always hungry! Healthy snacks are a necessity 🙂

Sadly my lunch is from my desk drawer – canned ravioli. My boss was supposed to take us out to lunch to celebrate a coworker’s anniversary, and I don’t think it’s happening today.
For lunch today I’m meeting up with my sisters at the park to have a picnic! can’t wait!!
I will make a smoothie for lunch. The plan is almond milk, spinach, cottage cheese, frozen strawberries and blueberries, oatmeal, honey, and cinnamon. I spend way too much time thinking about my next meal.

I love Quest bars! The lemon one is also good when microwaved for 10-15 seconds.

I packed a delicious turkey sandwich on wheat bread with some rice cakes and a banana. I also have a protein bar to snack on, but I have trouble finding bars that are healthy and taste good. Would love to try some Quest bars and see what they are all about!

I am on a nutritional, cellular cleanse today (as I am most Thursdays), so I will have my cleanse drink, some almonds, and lemon water! Many people think I’m crazy for doing this, but I LOVE my cleanse days. I’ve never tried Quest Bars, and really want to. I’m not sure where to find them around me, though!

I LOVE chocolate chip cookies! I see myself eating an entire box in one sitting…yikes. I usually have a salad for lunch but I’m going out for lunch today so it’s still up in the air – either this amazing Peruvian chicken place or some good old cheesy rice from the Mexican place nearby.
I’m going to lunch with coworkers to celebrate my last day on the job! Hopefully I make good choices!
