5K Training Plan for newer runners. It’s a run/walk plan.
Question: What are you doing this Nov 27th?
Me: Eating.
*Grand Prize subject to change. No guarantees.
Well, I typically go for a run and head over to the parents house. We would snack around 1 and eat delicious turkey and dressing around 3 or 4. And I would head home around 7 all full and happy, go to sleep and go to work at 7am on Friday. But this year…………the stupid mall is opening at 6pm on Thanksgiving, and since I am the big boss, I have to work ON TURKEY DAY!!!! Can you tell I am NOT happy 🙂 MY mom is serving dinner at 1pm to accommodate me. I feel so bad!! Thanksgiving used to be my favorite holiday. But my life in retail has ruined that for me. Sorry for the rant 🙂
It is so exciting to join, a unique grand prize you have. ahahah
I love the grand prize idea!!!
I’m thinking about running this one http://www.rescuemission.org/turkeytrotoc/
with my son. It’s even closer to home and benefits the local charity.
I have never done a turkey trot because I’m too lazy and cheap to drive to Dana Point! (#shame)
definitely eating and hoping the family dysfunction is minimal or that there is ample pie to stuff my face with in angst over said family dysfunction =)
We run a 5k as a family, then we eat!
I will either be eating or giving birth!
Potentially the BEST Thanksgiving ever!!!
Excited for the challenge this year! November 27th will be a Turkey Trot 10K then our first plant based Thanksgiving Dinner!
I work but we have a huge potluck every year. Looking forward to that! I am excited for the holidays to come here. I get to go to SD and see my family!
AHH I wish I could go! I won’t be in Irvine, though.. I’ve never done one! I’ve spent most of my Thanksgivings in London… they don’t do thanksgiving, haha!
