StitchFix Fashion Blog Review 6

So this Stitchfix Review has a little bit of an anti-climactic tone since I didn’t like it as much as I normally do (usually I rip open the package and put on ALL the clothes as once and dance around!!). The pieces they sent were cute, but just not me. Let’s review…

stitchfix review 6

First this leopard print sweater is adorable, but too long and doesn’t really work for my shape. I had mentioned my new favorite shoes are like these leopard flats and similar to these leopard peep toe flats – so that’s probably why they sent this piece.

This pencil skirt is cute, but also just doesn’t fit well. It’s a similar cut to the polka dot skirt I received in my 4th StitchFix delivery but just different enough that it doesn’t work.

stitchfix review fashion blog 8 (600x800)

It’s the slightest bit too long and I don’t have any tops beside that black one that will go with it. Plus, when I feel awkward in something I act awkward…

I like the Adora Ankle Length Skinny Jeans and they are really comfortable …

stitchfix review fashion blog 4 (600x800)

Paired with the leopard sweater and me not acting silly you can see it’s just a little too long to wear with jeans/does nothing for me…

I’m sending the sweater back and am now shopping around for another cute button down option. I like these simple ones from Target but they are still the “boyfriend” cut so I might suggest sizing down and/or shrinking it – per usual.

I love that my Stitchfix stylist sends me a great dress every time. I appreciate a good fitted dress and they always send me one that works for me. This time it’s a more casual wrap inspired dress with a bit of ruching at the waist.

No ruching in the back, simple colors – but not black and it’s super comfortable. I actually didn’t dig it in the box, but liked it once I put it on. I feel like that’s the good think about Stitchfix – you try things you wouldn’t if you were at the store yourself!

I have found the cute cardigans in the women’s sections at target are over in the girls section and the fit is way better! Just try a kids XL it’s awesome!

You look great in that dress! Right now I am wearing sweaty workout clothes – grey Capri leggings and a long black tank. I need to go shower and change!

That dress is so fab on you! Right now I have on dark teal pants and a fuchsia blouse from New York & Co. (I love that they make curvy-fit dress slacks), I even have a teal/fuchsia ring and Lela Rose flats from Payless that have purple polka dots on them. I have never been so coordinated in my life, it’s possible I’ve been body snatched.

One of my co-workers gets StichFix each month and absolutely loves it. She’s had a lot of success with it, keeping many of the items. I probably only full-on clothes shopping at most twice per year, so something like this would probably be good for my non-shopping self!

Currently, I’m wearing a dress with a fall-ish print from a local boutique paired with mustard-colored leggings and chocolate brown riding boots!

The blue dress is cute! I don’t like shopping but getting something in the mail that isn’t really my favorite or fits well would kind of annoy me. Maybe that why I stick to wearing my workout clothes as regular clothes hah!

My next Stitchfix is coming next week and I asked for a dress so I’m hoping they send something awesome. I may be building it up in my mind too much because I asked for something holiday party worthy and I’m guessing they won’t be sending Oscar de la Renta. We’ll see!

Currently I’m wearing Levi’s, a plain navy cotton v-neck t-shirt and a pair of Saucony running shoes that have too many running miles on them but are still too cute to get rid of. As you can tell, I’m super fashionable.

AHHH I want that cardigan! I thought of requesting it in a Stitchfix but they don’t always come through with specific requests. Can I buy it from you? 🙂

I’ve had 3 stitch fixes and have yet to love everything or have everything fit. I have a new one coming in 2 weeks. I’m wearing old plaid flannel pajama pants from Old Navy, a old t gray t shirt, and a blue hoodie from a local fundraiser. I change as soon as I get home from work. To work I wore, a pink long sleeve tech shirt (tj maxx), a jean skirt, black leggings and black boots. It’s cold in VT.

I’m wearing an eggplant purple sweater, (boat neck and dolmen sleeves) and my favorite Lucky jeans. Mini boot cut but with rain boots so really they look like skinny jeans. And my 2011 NYC asics marathon rain/wind jacket (yup raining in NYC)

That dress is perfect on you. I actually like the leopard cardigan/skinny jean combo on you. Maybe it’s just your cute pose. 🙂

I’m wearing pretty standard work clothes – halve-sleeve v-neck top in cream with cute puffed shoulders, beige and black checkered work pants in a straight leg cut, and patent black high heels.

      That’s a great dress!!

I love that dress! I can’t wait to see what I get in my Fix next month. What price point do you have your items set at? You always seem to get good stuff so I want to make sure I’m not limiting the good stuff I get by my low price point.

I’m wearing skinny jeans, a wool sweater pulled over a print button down top. I used to do StitchFix too, but after about 4 deliveries, I just felt like they were sending the same styles over and over or getting huge misses. Even when I added additional information to my profile, it didn’t seem to help. After two unsuccessful attempts, I discontinued my membership for the 2nd time.
