Hello! I am constantly sipping tea as the weather gets cooler. I cannot handle the cold (I’m pretty sure I was made to live on a hot rock in the deserts of Mexico like a lizard). I just want to drink hot tea and sit by the heater at all times.
Luckily Tea Vision has about 9,226 different flavors of tea (give or take) so I can sip all day and night without getting tired of it. And I’m pretty happy their seasonal flavors are everywhere now. I stock up!
I made a Gingerbread Spice Tea Latte this week and am happy to share (the recipe, not an actual sip of my tea). Ginger(bread) for life!
Gingerbread Tea Latte Recipe
- 2 bags of Gingerbread Spice tea
- 3/4 cup milk of your choice
- pumpkin pie spice
- packet of sweetener (or two)
Directions: Steep 2 tea bags in 1/2 cup of hot water for 3 minutes. Heat milk and add sweetener and a good shake of pumpkin pie spice. Stir. Remove tea bags and pour hot milk mixture over tea. Optional: Top with whipped cream and a little more pp spice. Enjoy!
This would work great with their Sugar Cookie Sleigh Ride tea but won’t have as much ‘spice’ taste to it.
If I was a dinosaur I’d be a Tea Rex.
25 Days of Fitness
Yesterday I took a walk as part of “walk it off Wednesday”. The weather is so mild and nice. It was the perfect relaxation time after a stressful day!
Today’s 25 days of fitness challenge is for your heart fitness – but you don’t have to break a sweat (unless you text your crush). Text 3 people you haven’t talked to in awhile just to say ‘hi’.
Question: What are you sipping right now?
Paige @ Healthy Hits the Spot says
Ah, this looks so good! I love making tea lattes 🙂 Going to give this a try – sounds super creamy
Tricia @ A Couple of Dashes says
That sounds delicious! I’ve seriously been freezing in this weather lately so I’ll have to try this! I’ve been drinking more hot cocoa lately since I’ve been craving something a little more creamy than plain tea but can’t keep justifying the calories!
Nikki @ will run for pizza says
Ooooooooo I’m ALL about the gingerbread right now!
Sue says
Coincidentally, tea but green tea though I’m about to head to the pantry to make a cuppa.
Katie says
Oh my goodness, I just made this, and it is absolutely delicious! Thanks so much for the recipe! I made mine with vanilla soymilk & used sugar in the raw as the sweetener, and it turned out so creamy and perfect.
Alisha @ Real Girl Running says
Right at this moment I am having a coffee that my Dad made me on his coffee machine at home. An essential start to the day!

I’m reading this while standing in a long Starbucks line. I may leave and go make it!

sippin’ on plain ol’ water right now. I’m totally obsessed with the Sugar
Cookie Sleigh Ride tea, but I’ll have to give your gingerbread tea latte a try!
Angela @ HonestlyAngela says
I am sipping on some lukewarm water out of a Nalgene bottle. I would way rather be drinking that latte!
Ashley @ A Lady Goes WAest says
Yummy! I’m a tea gal myself and always add milk and sweetener, but have never made it as fancy as this. Good work! And the ginger part? So funny. 🙂

My 3rd cup of coffee because apparently I need to drink the entire pot 🙂
Daisy @ Fit Wanderlust Runner says
It sounds pretty great! I also look forward to drinking more tea the colder it gets. But let’s be honest California doesn’t really have a winter
🙂
Ashley says
California does have a winter. Just because it’s not the same as yours, doesn’t mean it’s not a winter.
Anne Marie D-Chi says
Mmmm that sounds good! I am currently sipping TJ’s Pumpkin Spice coffee. YUM.
Rachel Runs Music City says
I’ve been loving Celestial Seasonings Cranberry Vanilla Wonderland flavor! It’s my new favorite post-run treat 🙂

I just percolated coffee. I haven’t used the percolated in years but I have been sad that I ran out of my favorite cups for my keurig so this was a nice switch up.
Becky @ Ok, so here's the plan says
I don’t drink a lot of tea, but that looks good!
I’m drinking coffee, as I do daily.

I have spotted them in special displays at random parts of the store – ask if your store have them.
