Hi! I made a delicious pomegranate smoothie today after my run and want to share the recipe. It was messy because I am messy, but totally amazing and hit the spot. I’m super into pomegranate seeds right now.
But first let me share this amazing photo from my run. It’s so beautiful here today. I love it and never take it granted. I had to cut it short because I have a lot of work today for my health coaching certification. There’s a big test up tomorrow.
I am super excited about my Advocare delivery (even though Vegas isn’t). My one friend asked me to do the 24 day challenge with her and kind of walk her through what I eat and how to do it. So as soon as she gets her pack I’ll be sharing the challenge here so she (and any anyone else on the challenge at the time) can follow along.
Now let’s talk smoothies!
Pomegranate Protein Smoothie
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1/2 cup frozen (or fresh) pomegranate arils
- ice
Blend. Pour into a serving glass and top with extra arils. Enjoy!
Sunday Set Up for a Healthy Week
Now it’s time to get ready for the week! Are you doing some meal prep today?
Question: Do you have any frozen fruit in your house right now?
I have blueberries and pomegranate.

Nope, no frozen fruits but lots of fruits otherwise. Tropical fruits. 🙂

This looks great! I have frozen bananas, raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, peaches and pineapple. I’ve been on a smoothie kick lately, so my freezer is fully stocked!
Katherine says
I’ve always got frozen strawberries and frozen cherries on hand.
YUM!

I am so jealous of your running weather!! It wasn’t too bad here in N. Ireland today though, about 10 C which was nice enough…
I don’t have any frozen fruit as my freezer is SOOOO small, but it’s full of frozen veg 🙂

Elaine says
Strawberries & blueberries! I would try the pomegranate, but can’t figure out a good way to cut ’em open & scrape those things out.

I do meal prep on Sundays, but I am slacking today. 🙁 I was glued to the Pats / Broncos game. So sad the Pats lost!!!!! I LOVE smoothies. I usually prefer fresh fruit in mine, but in the winter when it’s hard to come buy, I keep frozen berries in the freezer. Yumm!
