Thanks for all your great comments about my race! It feels really good to have so many people sending good wishes 🙂 I never claim that running is easy and no matter how many races I do I still get nervous for them, so I really appreciate your support.
Today was a rest day from running since I ran 13.1 miles yesterday. I wanted to do something, so Ben and I went to the gym. I don’t like the gym, but it’s better than nothing (kinda). I did 30 minutes on the Stairmaster and had just got on the elliptical when Ben said it was time to go. Boo. I wanted to do more, but knew it was best to get going and not be late to work!
Breakfast– I felt like I hadn’t had oats in forever! I made the usual with the added toppings of AB, Flax Plus Cereal crumbs and blackberries.
Lunch – I made a turkey sandwich on a Perfect 10 bagel with spinach and mustard. Carrots and tomatoes on the side, this is the first time I’ve ever ate tomatoes plain like that. *Once again I think turkey was the healthiest option available, so I went with it, but I am really conflicted about eating so much meat lately. Boo.I have a lot of watermelon that I will happily eat this week – I bought 2 from Costco yesterday!Â
I actually ate lunch early today, I was super hungry all morning! After an errand I ate some blackberries on the way back to the office.
Snacks – I packed almonds and a yogurt for an afternoon snack, but it needed something… & that something was a diet coke!
Later – I added some of Terence’s cereal to my yogurt. He was gone so I kinda stole it, but he reads the blog so now he knows. Thanks Terence 🙂
I also ended up eating more cereal with milk after this. I have decided I don’t really like fruit flavored yogurts with cereal and should stick to vanilla, honey or plain.
