I love super simple recipes and just decided to work with what I needed to use up tonight. I have a ton of broccoli so I started with that and decided to use it with pasta, beans and feta cheese. It was sooo easy too! Just cook pasta, add rinsed off beans and feta cheese. Serve with broccoli “cooked” in microwave. I add a glass of water in the micro with the broccoli so they are lightly steamed. IMG_1574

So easy and delicious 🙂IMG_1582

When I got home from the airport I was starving! It was close to 3pm and I hadn’t eaten lunch. I considered just having a snack and going for a run, but I was shaky so I decided to eat. I made salmon salad, with carrots and grapes. I also ate some crackers and spreadable cheese.IMG_1568

Then, I went for an afternoon run. It was rough. I got through 4 miles, and I’m happy with that.  For some reason my body just doesn’t like to run after 10am. I’ve tried it a few times and every time I feel super stiff and it’s harder. Oh, and the salmon burps made me feel like I had to barf. Sick. Sorry.

When I got back I had a bowl of cereal and some choc PB (no pic).

Now I am watching The Office. Pam and Jim are getting married so Ben and I are watching it together because we feel like we just got married yesterday.

On the plane I ate some Pop Chips too 🙂 I was super hungry at this point and probably should have eaten a real meal. IMG_1566

Glad you made it home safe. I love super simple recipes! I know you love chicpeas, so you should try pasta, chicpeas and broccoli all mixed together with greek yogurt. It’s almost like alfredo! Not really, but it’s just as tasty 😉

Easy recipes are necessary for me. I don’t have a lot of time so if it takes forever to make you can probably forget it!
