Today I love … being a sweaty beast

I can’t help the fact that I sweat profusely! I don’t really love it.
I was such a sweaty beast on my run today. No, really I was like drenched. I hate that I sweat so much I feel like such a man.

Note to self: “Buy a running skirt so you don’t look like such a man while running in public.” I did about 6 today. I am still pretty slow this week. I don’t know if it’s because of the food poisoning or I am not properly resting/fueling. I will look into this…

Breakfast was 1/3c oat bran topped with 2tsp brown sugar. I was really hungry this morning as I was making this. It’s weird that I wanted hot cereal since it was already 70 something degrees as I was running.
I had 2 bowls of this H2O melon when I got to work. I am almost ready to cut open his friend.

Happy Friday everyone! I have a big weekend planned. Tomorrow we are going to Catalina Island. I will have a full report on Sunday. I’ve never been there and have always wanted to go. It’s about an hour’s boat ride from Long Beach or San Pedro off the California coast. You can see the island on a clear day. I am so excited! I hope I don’t get sea sick on the boat ride. I DO NOT want to barf again for a long time after Monday night.

      Running skirts do make you feel more powerful in an oddly feminine way. :} I have learned to love the sweaty piece while running – I imagine it is all that made junk food I eat leaving me.
