Happy Halloween! Are you ready for candy?
I mean, to give out candy…
Busted.
I don’t know why but I was extra hungry yesterday so I knew I needed a substantial snack situation. Since Cabot recently hooked me up with delicious cheese and I had the idea for a Halloween inspired sandwich I made a Jack o’lantern Grilled Cheese!
And this is how I’m spending tonight… I’m trying to keep it chill since I’ve been going out a lot lately and have a very busy weekend ahead!!

This weekend I am packing up things and getting ready to move to Chicago next week. Eek!
Tricia @ A Couple of Dashes says
Oh my gosh! I love that you have a watermelon costume! I’m going to a Halloween party tonight, going to my aunt’s tomorrow to make vegan chocolate mousse and help her with a blanket she is making and then doing a 5k on Sunday. I’m tired just thinking about all of it!
Brooke@runningonchange says
Candy hurts my stomach but around this time of year I always buy white chocolate kit kats they are delicious, oh and pumpkin spice m&m’s but only one bag per season or else I will be in the bathroom all night!
Angela @ North Idaho Runner says
Hope to be doing some easy paced recovery runs and lots of relaxing….maybe some furniture shopping.

Ashley @ Saving Money in your Twenties says
my favorite candy is definitely reeses pumpkins! I tried to get a bag last weekend but our grocery store was out. So I had to get trader joe’s pb cups… which, turns out, are just as delicious!! haha
Shawna says
my fave candy is dark chocolate (preferably with almonds, but i won’t turn it down without). not into gummy or fruity or chewy candy at alllll — must be choco based, and even then i’m choosey. i know. i know. i’d do better if they gave out mini bottles of wine.
Angela @ HonestlyAngela says
I am going to a Christmas farmers market this weekend – it is perfectly acceptable to shop for Christmas once Halloween is over!
I don’t know what my favorite candy is. I really like those green apple lollipops with caramel – do they still make those because I want one!
Carrie (This Fit Chick) says
AHAH love the sandwich so cute! Have fun today!
Lauren @ The Foodie Runner says
How is it that I lived in Irvine for 2 years and never knew there was a turkey trot in town??? I’ve always just done the Dana Point one – probably because it is so big! 😀
Paula says
Completing my last “long run” – really not that long – before next weekend’s half. And of course watching the NYC marathon!

I’m running a 5k Saturday and then I’ll be spectating at the NYC marathon on Sunday. I have 10 friends in my app to track and hopefully see and cheer for. Plus 49,990 strangers too 🙂

I’ll be eating all of the candy at work tomorrow (I love candy corn!!!!) and watching Garfield’s Halloween Adventure during my lunch break, cause that’s how I roll on Halloween. And on Saturday I’ll be running the Carrera de los Muertos 5k, which I’m super excited about running this year.
Daisy @ Fit Wanderlust Runner says
I am going to SD this weekend and I am pretty excited about it. Get to see family. I love Halloween candy but it can be boring after eating too much of it too fast. So I know I can always count on my Mexican candy to hold down the fort!
Becky @ Ok, so here's the plan says
This weekend is for house hunting, running and relaxin’!
My favorite candy is Kinder Buenos – hazelnutty goodness 🙂
