Hello! How are you doing? I’m over here just trying to get my lil ducks in a row…

ducks in a row blog (800x600)

I saw those little baby ducks with their mom yesterday on a walk. It made me die. But then come back to life to take a picture. So cute.

My ducks are super NOT in a row though because I woke up to find my almond milk on the counter. #fail I forgot to put it back in the fridge last night!

This morning I went for a run on one of my favorite paths and spotted some Ragnar SoCal signs!! Ah! I was on the course for Ragnar and having race envy. Wish I was running it, but I have other important business to attend to this weekend.

Post run I hit up Costco for some essentials. Vegas loves to sit in boxes no matter where they are!

Weekly Blog Favorites…

1. Favorite Comment – Every time I get a funny comment I think “that’s my favorite comment of the week!” But before I start referencing recent ones I want to flash back Friday to a super old, random comment…

This week Vegas was taking a cat nap on this rocking chair and it reminded me of one of that blog comment.

my sleepy cat blog 2 (600x800)

This is from the day I got that chair back in 2012!!! Ben bought it while I was out of town and I was like not feeling it so I asked what color I should paint it.

Ha!

Please note I still haven’t painted it or anything. #TeamLazy

2. Raspberries. NOT blueberries because the last two times I bought them from Trader Joe’s they were gross.

3. 19 Kids and Counting. How do I become a Duggar? I love them.

19 kids

4. Cheese melted on a tortilla. But I wouldn’t call it a quesadilla since it’s just thrown in the microwave while I make other food…

5. Stitchfix. I am really digging Stitchfix lately!

First I loved the lace top they sent me this week. And yesterday I busted out this sundress I got a few months back. Sadly, I don’t think it’s available anymore for those that asked. This is the same cut in a different pattern though.

The dress is by Tart. So now that I know I like the cut and my size in their stuff I am thinking about this blue dress so I can wear a non-strapless bra with it. Boom.

Also – I really want to buy a romper because I feel like it would be so comfortable. Buuut I don’t think it would be flattering. I’m gonna try it and let you know as a PSA. Wish me luck…

Question: What is your favorite thing this week?

I can’t do rompers. My ass is too big for those hahaah. They look cute though on some people!

My favorite thing this week was moving into my new office! And decorating it. And starting my training plan! and runnnnnning…. And not having to work tonight 🙂 so I can go run. in the hot sun eeep!

I don’t like stitch fix as much as I like Le Tote. Le Tote has had better products and designs each time, and overall i’ve liked it a lot more… but your stuff has been cute!

I consistently leave the milk out of the counter as well! You’d think after the first time I would learn…

My favorite thing this week is my new phone. I’ve had the same damn dinosaur iPhone 4 since 2012 – it was time for an upgrade!

My favorite thing this week was the Spring weather and getting out for some great hikes in the foothills. I did one yesterday that had 2000 ft of elevation gain in the first 3 miles. Not gonna lie…my muscles are sore today but the views and workout was worth it!

My biggest concern about rompers is how you go to the bathroom. You have to like strip down completely? Seems like so much extra work!

The Duggars live pretty darn close to me! In Northwest Arkansas. 🙂 I have many friends who have seen them out and about in person. Jill Duggar was proposed to on my hometown’s downtown square.

My favorite thing like I said on Facebook is that I’m totally famous right now because of my blog comment.
And rompers can lead to a camel toe danger zone. Tread cautiously

Fun fact: The first Stitchfix box I ever got was like 4 years ago when they were a wee tiny baby company, and it had a romper in it. It looked ludicrous on me, because I think like 5 people in the world OVER the age of 6 actually look good in rompers. That said, I would rock the crap out of those if I happened to be one of those 6 special people.

My favorite thing this week is yoga. After a few weeks of classes that feel kinda weird and crapoy I’ve finally hit the point where I feel like it’s clicked and I want more.

Rompers… I really want to try one for summer but I fear that I just can’t pull it off as a 36 year old mom. In Kentucky. But you’re a hip young so cal girl so I think you can do it!

OMG those ducks…. I would also die. And then they would probably become my pets.

Rompers are the best until you have to pee. But other than that I love everything about them… Especially when they have pockets!
