Run Eat Repeat

Two Reasons I’m Proud of Myself Today

Hello! How’s it going? I’m very proud of myself for two reasons today:

1.) I finished my capsule wardrobe yesterday. (It took forever.)

2.) I just did some speed work running.

I did two 1 mile  at 7 effort and two 800m at an 8 effort. I was going to try and aim for certain times, but my PRs are from so long ago I’m definitely not in shape to do speed work based on those times. So, I’m using my first few speed sessions to assess what should be my speed work goals.

Bonus: I saw my little duck friends!!  I love them.

After the run I made a protein pancake with a scoop of protein powder and about half a cup of egg whites. Plus PB.

I’m working on a post about how I did the capsule wardrobe. This is day one of what I’m wearing… hot pink sleeveless tank, my favorite jean shorts, neutral  sandals. Now I need to organize my accessories so I can change it up throughout the season!

Question: What animal/animals have you seen to today?

Fun fact: If you try to type ( s ) but without spaces it’s a moon Sleeping half-moon I just did that trying to put it behind animal in the line above.

I count bunny rabbits on my cycling day in the park. So far, the record is 37.

2 stray dogs barking and chasing me during my run yesterday morning! Well I did PB 100m – unexpected speedwork I guess. LOL!

i did a wardrobe purge a few weeks ago and it felt really good. i dont think i’ll be able to get to capsule status any time soon, but i love this trend.
the only animal i’ve seen so far today is our cat, she’s pretty awesome though.

I just saw my two lovely dogs Kona and Guinness as I walked through the door from my 12 hour night shift. Sure made my day to see how happy they were to see me.

Well done, since starting my daily walks 6 months ago I’ve become firm friends with the local ducks. They come running towards me and my dog. Nice to feel wanted 🙂

Looking forward to your capsule wardrobe post. It is something I have been very interested in & think it is needed with the mess I call my closet!

Love the ducks! I love when I see animals on my evening walks. I have been seeing a lot of chipmunks lately. They are adorable! I’m not sure what a capsule wardrobe is?

Umm I would say those are two HUGE accomplishments….speed work = death work.

I saw bambi this morning and she smiled at me. We had a moment.
