Le Tote Discount Code and Review

Hello! Today’s post is about fashion (via Le Tote), cats, fashionable cats and a discount code! Well, the discount code is for Le Tote, not for the cat but let me know if you want to borrow him for a few days…

“Whhhhat?!” – Vegas the cat.

I am working with Le Tote to share some information about a different kind of fashion delivery service. Le Tote is a fashion RENTAL service that gives you access to an unlimited supply of clothes and accessories. Super cool – especially for me since I’m on a new minimalist kick in my life and have stopped overflowing my closet with impulse buys.

How LE TOTE works: Super simple – Only pay $49/month

  1. Fill out your size profile and like all of your favorite pieces by clicking the heart. This adds the pieces to your closet.
  2. A Stylist will curate your tote with items in your closet and items that fit your style.
  3. Wear your tote (3 garments, 2 accessories) for as long or as little as you want! 2 days, 3 weeks, however long or little as you please!
  4. Send the whole tote back in the prepaid envelope and they’ll send you a new tote immediately. Loved something? Hold on to it and send everything else back. This lets them know that you’d like to purchase it! In that case they charge the card on file and send a new tote

Pros:

Shipping is free.

Unlimited pieces for one flat rate each month.

Each tote has 3 garments and 2 accessories.

They do the laundry!!! <- love.

A stylist curates your personal tote, but you can log in and change what they are sending if you don’t need a particular item/style that week.

Members can purchase items they love at a big discount.

Cons:

They might blacklist me for getting cat hair on all my clothes. (Bonus: Le Tote offers $5 insurance just in case Vegas scratches or pulls a run in this sweater!)

A lot of the accessories are statement pieces and I wasn’t confident I’d know how to wear them. (Luckily they sent me exact picks of what I loved and it worked.)

I signed up and filled out my style profile, putting hearts next to all the stuff I loved…

My first Le Tote delivery… in my first tote I received a rucched dress, silky floral dress, striped sweater, those chandelier earrings and cute whale tail necklace.

I had Vegas try on the sweater with me. We’re a team like that.

I love this dress because it’s super comfortable and cute. It’s like wearing a big soft t-shirt, but I can wear it to the club church and feel like I’m put together.

While I am living in the striped sweater and will probably be keeping it, I think my favorite piece was the whale necklace. Someone on Instagram pointed out that it’s called a Whale Fluke. Don’t say you never learned anything on RER!

Great ideas for dresses honey. Keep up the good work. Will follow you! The necklace (as stated above) is very beautiful as well as the earrings.

You should wear your golden sandals with that fushia/margenta dress.

I love Le Tote. I’ve been using it for about 4 months now, but I’ve been getting kind of frustrated lately with the lack of selection. You put 500 items in your ‘closet’ and then they keep trying to send me the same t-shirt that they offer in 5 different colors each week. You can swap out the items before they send it, but you can only choose from what is actually in stock, not necessarily in your closet. Oh well, not mad enough about it to quit yet, it is really a fun way to try styles I would never buy myself.

I love Le Tote! I’ve been using it for about 3 months now. I actually just got that same pink ruffle dress in my last tote. Haha – great minds…

I’d like to think I am good at accessorizing; however, my 10 month old son likes pulling my earrings and necklaces so I have cut back on it for awhile. Le Tote sounds like a interesting service. Hey are you still doing the capsule wardrobe thing? I ended up making a capsule wardrobe and I love it!

Yes I am doing the capsule wardrobe so I love the idea of renting something for a date night or having some cute accessories on hand to dress something up.

I like to accessorize but I will say I am pretty mediocre at it 🙂
