Boxing Before Work

Breakfast

FacebookTweetPin
5 May

This morning I hit up LA Boxing for a Kickboxing class. I was excited to finally put my gloves to use! So far all I’ve done with them is put them on and jump around…gloves

I met a few reps from LA Boxing at Fitbloggin and they offered to let me work out for free if I blog about it. Score! I only recently fell in love with KB and really wanted to try a gym with actual bags.IMG_7757

And a ring! I am convinced I would be a great boxer even though I’ve never done anything like it before. I figure God didn’t make me this stocky for nothing.IMG_7758

Plus, I did happen to run into Chuck Liddell in Vegas… I think it’s a sign. Yep, it’s a sign that I should go back to Vegas. Or maybe it’s a sign that I should box…. Hmmmm. DSCN9901

The class was fun, but not very challenging. The warm up was running around the ring – which didn’t even get me out of breathe. IMG_7762

Punching the bag was fun and if you get into it could be a great work out if you push yourself.

Maybe it wasn’t hard for me because I was hugging the bag instead of punching it?  The best part of the whole morning was finally meeting Sana in person 🙂 IMG_7759

After class I rushed home to eat breakfast and get ready for my day. I made a waffle sandwich with 2 toaster waffles and egg beaters in the middle plus syrup. Yum. IMG_7770

But, this didn’t keep me full for long so I just had a yogurt and an orange.IMG_7775

My old job from CA needs some temp work so I will be a little worker bee for a while. Gotta Go!

I would like to propose not to hold back until you get enough amount of cash to order different goods! You can take the lowest-rate-loans.com or just consolidation loans and feel yourself comfortable

Between me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.

I’m sad I didn’t win the subway gift card. I thought my honey mustard and bbq sauce mixture was very unique. It’s my favorite.

You’re the first person I’ve heard say the workout at LA Boxing wasn’t challenging!! I’ve never tried it though but good for you!

Chuck Liddell lives here in San Luis Obispo and people often times see him around, especially at the bars! My roommate actually has a picture with him on Halloween!

I used to be able to go to a really fun kickboxing class! Although there were no gloves or bags. But for some reason not many people liked it at my gym, so they got rid of it. Sad! But I don’t go to that gym anymore, so even if they had it, I guess it wouldn’t matter to me!

I have been wanting to try a kickboxing fitness class, but I am always afraid that with how uncoordinated I am I will get hurt haha.
