Cafeteria Style

Lunch

FacebookTweetPin
14 Dec

I went to a smallish Catholic school from 1st through 12th grade. Yes, I was a Catholic School girl, see…PRAYING

Anyways, I never had a cafeteria and always felt like I missed out. I actually say that I love cafeteria food because of this – I think I have convinced myself it’s good in my mind.

Well, I fell in love with this child’s food tray at Target the other day and had to have it. It’s like a cafeteria at my house for lunch!IMG_3228

See the little monkey peeking out from under my sandwich? Bet you wish you had a monkey to dine with.IMG_3230

P.S. – Dessert was a chocolate square and I had to swap out the tangerine for a pear. It wasn’t that ripe and I was just kinda forcing myself to eat it.

I kind of had the same school envy with private school, I went to public school and always wished I could wear a uniform to school like all the catholic school girls!

Hahaha I always want to pick up children’s plates when I’m dish shopping. They’re so perfect with the little sections.

You are not alone, I was in a Catholic school from 1st-12th grade. We didn’t have a cafeteria until high school. I still brought my own lunch though because I didn’t want to eat cheeseburgers and fries everyday for lunch! Love the plate 🙂
