I’ve been putting off my 2009 recap because I don’t even know where to start! This has been the craziest year ever and I almost don’t want it to end 🙂
I started the year in California, with a boyfriend and a job and am ending the year in Maryland with a husband and a pile of freelance work I better get on!
Here are the highlights for the first half of the year (since it was the better half):
January – I got engaged!!! So here is the big news…
February – I ran my first marathon!!! 4:15:38
March – Ben flew us to Santa Barbara!!! Come fly with me
I repeatedly showed pictures of my Blue Toenail. This is your foot on running.
April – Ben and I celebrated our anniversary at the Stinking Rose.
The R.D. told me I have to get the root of my overeating problems. Pulling Weeds
May – Ran the OC half marathon and then pigged out 🙂 Race day eats make me happy.

June – Only 6 months after getting engaged I got married at a castle in Central California Wine Country. Wedding Recap
I went to Princeton, NJ for a graduation.
I forgot a part of my dress for the wedding 🙁 Which I still regret and want to have pics re-taken…
I announced I was moving to MD for a new job!
Whew! I am exhausted just recapping half the year.
More than anything I cannot believe I got married this year. I really regret rushing it so much, but at the time it was all part of the plan with moving and stuff. Now I am left unsatisfied with my pics and contemplating how to get Ben to let me retake them, but that’s another story.
I am so so so grateful for everything amazing that happened to me this year and all the wonderful people that are a part of my life 🙂 This has been the best year ever!!!

I just wanted to tell you that I think you’re amazing. I’ve been reading your blog for about 4 months now and have been meaning to leave a comment and tell you that. I struggle with a lot of the same issues you do, I am also a runner, and just completed my first marathon at the beginning of this month. I think that you’re really brave for putting everything out there and sharing with your feelings and struggles with the blog world every day. You make me laugh and inspire me, and I just wanted to share that with you. Oh, and good freakin time on your first marathon! I wish I could have finished in as good of a time as you did!
