Dehydrated?

Uncategorized

8 Jul

I don’t know if it was smog or dehydration or what, but I felt like lead stomach and legs today on my run. I was over a mile in and still couldn’t get into it, so I did 2 miles and took a walk break.

Well, the walk break ended up lasting until I got home. So that’s what it is.

When I got back I immediately cooked up a breakfast burrito. In the tortilla – eggs, spinach, onions, tomatoes, salsa and ketchup. I like my tortilla burnt, hence the black lines.IMG_9838

I ate a ton of cherries and strawberries while cooking too.IMG_9837

I have a lot of little things to take care of as our move is still in process. My car and all our belongings are on their way across the country and I should really check on that!

Don’t forget to enter my triathlon contest below! Take a chance 🙂

Question: What’s your favorite summer fruit?

I’m have equal love for watermelon and cherries. And when I say equal love I mean an unhealthy obsession with both!

I’ve been loving my cherries this year, along with blackberries and melon. Really, any berry will make me happy.

I have been eating tons of blueberries, strawberries, and pineapple. Also here in DC metro area the weather has been horrid for running. I have been still getting my miles in but the air quality, heat and humidity has taken a real tool.

Can’t pick a favorite: berries, cantaloupe, peaches, nectarines, cherries – I love them all! 🙂

I’m visiting my parents in Florida and went for a run yesterday. Yikes, the humidity made the run exceedingly more difficult. So. Much. Sweat.
Somedays you just need to take it easy.

It’s hard to pick a summer fruit favorite. Watermelon, cherries and really ripe peaches or nectarines are probably my top 3.

Hmmm that is a really hard question. I guess I’d have to go with watermelon. We should have a watermelon-eating contest. I bet I could win 🙂

My favorite fruit is a toss-up between watermelon and cantaloupe. Cantaloupe is just so tasty, but watermelon just plain smells like summer to me.

Digging blackberries right now. Although the past few weekend the peaches have been making an appearance on our grill:)

I’m glad you walked and took it easy, sometimes you can’t break into a groove. But you got in 2 solid miles, terrific!

I can’t even fathom the idea of running outside here. I wouldn’t make it 500m with the humidity that is just hanging over the city. Good for you for going out and giving it a try!

    Your burrito looks really yummy!

I’m obsessed with cherries in the summertime. I can eat them at every meal! In fact, I’m eating some right now 🙂
