I was working from home and got hungry around 10:30am, I figured a snack wouldn’t be bad because I was going to yoga at noon and would have a late lunch. So, I had some almonds because they were right in front of me.Then I got some pretzels with nutella…and 2 crackers with a piece of provolone and salami. This is out of character for me, but for some reason it sounded very good. All those snacks held me over well during a one and a half hour yoga class.
Right next to the yoga studio there is a restuarant I have been wanting to try – Veggie Grill.It’s a vegetarian restuarant with a great menu (I had checked it out in the past.)
I got the Chop Chop Chef Salad: chopped romain, tempeh, veggie steak, chillin’ chickn, green onion, roasted corn salsa with chipotle ranch dressing. Here is a picture of the veggie-steak and chillin’ chickn up close. This salad was amazing. I am so going back there!
Major oops– I ate A LOT of nutella out of the jar in the afternoon. I was eating a few more pretzels with it and just kept eating right out of the jar. Afterwards I was pissed at myself. I know better than to eat PB/Nutella/anything that is good – straight out of the jar!
I wasn’t that hungry for dinner after the nutella debacle, but I decided to eat something since I needed to fuel up for Saturday. I made ravioli and salad.
