Hello hello, here is my little day from Wednesday…
I started the day with the usual oatmeal, I added in some Fiber One because I wanted a little crunch.
After my first spinning class I came home and was hungry in a half an hour. I had an apple.
I was still hungry after eating the apple so I ate this new find – Popumz. I found it at Whole Foods in the section for babies/kids food and snacks. I bought another bag and shared it with Matt over the weekend. I offered him this bag and he declined. He said, “No thanks they’re not that good. You can give them to someone else.” So, that’s his review for you.
What I like about this snack is the bag is 120 calories and have A LOT in the bag. I am totally a volume eater, so that is a huge plus.
They are mildly sweet, crunchy discs with a string of chocolate on top. They remind me of tiny sweet rice cakes. I thought they were just okay at first, but after this second try I really like them 🙂
I am trying to use up some of the food I have, including a carton of egg whites I had bought for my Thanksgiving recipes. I made 1/2c egg whites, a Rudi’s bagel with LC cheese and a big carrot.
I am officially addicted to toast with almond butter and choc chips…
I felt snacky all day and wanted something that would take a long time to eat in the afternoon. So, I made popcorn. This is the big bag, not that 100 calorie crap.
I went to Costco before dinner and ended up eating a couple of samples and a ton of grapes. I was going to skip dinner but I had already thawed fish for my fish burrito so I decided to go for it. I made a fish burrito with beans and lettuce inside. I topped it with Tapatio and cheese to make a wet burrito.
I am trying to stay away from eating after dinner but I couldn’t stop myself from having hot cocoa and PB Puffins.
I love PB puffins!
Seriously, it is pretty spicy. Normally I use enchilada sauce to make a wet burrito, but I didn’t want to open a whole can for 1 burrito. That is what restuarants use. You can get a can of the Mild kind at the store.
That burrito looks so good…I really want to try the tapatio/wet burrito thing but I’m such a baby with spiciness!
