Elliptical Swap

Breakfast· Lunch

FacebookTweetPin
9 Dec

I swapped my run this morning for 30 minutes on the elliptical. I actually hate that trade since I get bored and don’t feel like it’s a good workout, but I thought the sidewalk would be too slippery for a run (I heard a very icy rain hitting our windows last night). After the elliptical I took a walk and called some friends 🙂

I ate breakfast before working out today – cereals with soymilk and a banana with Almond Butter. IMG_3121IMG_3123

After the walk I came back and ate grapes x3. I cannot keep my hand out of the grape bowl!IMG_3124

Lunch was breakfast. Well, it was a “breakfast food”. I made french toast and it totally hit the spot. Yum!IMG_3126

I really need to work on my “To-Do” List today. Hope everyone else is more productive than me!!!

Question to think about: Why is Maple Syrup so damn good?!?!

    I don’t like maple syrup.
This could also tie into my theory that I’m so far south that I’ve never gotten real maple syrup, so I don’t know what I’m missing. Like poutine.

I can relate with using a machine than actually running out there. I also have this thing with exercising with a video. I wish it wasn’t so smoky and dangerous here. I would be out everyday running or walking.

I hate the elliptical too! I used to love it but I sort of hate it now.

Maple syrup is delicious! I had never tried it really until a few weeks ago. Pretty tasty!

LOL I just wrote a guest post on maple syrup–love the stuff. Last night the dining hall had curried acorn squash. I was worried at first they wouldn’t fit together but it was like magic

we switched to “real” maple syrup over the summer and while we still love it, we don’t nearly use so much of it anymore.

it’s snowing here, it’s been snowing all day, 9 inches already!

I’ve never had pure maple syrup. It’s something that’s on my list of things to try.

I was productive at writing out a few different (VERY long) to-do lists — does that count? 🙂

I actually really like the Mrs. Butterworth’s lite syrup. No artifcial sweeteners and only like 70 cal (maybe 100?) for 1/4 cup which is PLENTY!
