Fans for my wedding

7 May

I ordered fans for the wedding ceremony since it’s outside, in June, in California and may be HOT! dscn8504

This is a possible cake topper. I’m not sure how I want our cake to look yet, so I don’t know if we’ll use this on top, but even if we don’t it’s a cute little decoration we can keep at our house. One thing my fiancé and I are sure of is we will buy our wedding rings from a  handmade unique wedding rings Sydney shop.dscn8497

I also ordered mints for the travel gift bags…dscn8500

Oh, wait this is a food/fitness blog not a wedding blog…I almost forgot!

W/O: My legs felt a little tight this morning so I did a slow and steady 5.5 miles. When I got home I did one of Polly’s yoga sessions.

I have decided I do not like strength training, I just don’t enjoy it like I enjoy running or yoga. Running is my cardio, but I need to do strength training, especially because there are areas I need to tone up! So, I’m going to focus on incorporating yoga into my mornings 3 times a week. Jenna said recently that doing yoga 6 days a week is what helped her lose the freshman 10 and she hasn’t done strength training for a while, yet she’s in the best shape ever.

That settles it. I am going to commit to yoga 3 days a week and that will be my new strength training and stretching time!

Breakfast – I do believe that oatmeal is the breakfast of champions. It keeps me full longer than any other breakfast and is super satisfying, but hot oats are the last thing I want after a sweaty run. I’m trying to enjoy oatmeal as much as possible before it gets too hot here.

In the bowl:Oatbran, 1 naner, almond milk, salt, cinnamon. Toppings: 2 chopped dates, Fiber One Carmel cereal, PB 🙂dscn8494

Meghann has a giveaway for Blue Mountain Organics! They look good and I hope I win 🙂

Gorgeous wedding things! I was so lazy about planning my wedding. I sort of wish I’d done more things. But it was nice and simple.

Your wedding accesories are so freakin’ adorable! I like the glass heart choice over the traditional figurines. Do you have any plans for the honeymoon?

Great wedding fans! I don’t think I have seen fans like that before- cool idea!
Man there are so many little details that go into wedding planning! Scary! 🙂

    Great looking oats! Yummy!!

Good for you for committing to Yoga! I need to do that too! I need to re-vamp my workout schedule- too much running, not enough strength/core training.
