Food Find – Healthy Choice Tomato Basil and Mozzarella Panini

I actually like frozen meals so, I was pretty excited to try this panini. I have tried the Lean Cuisine Paninis in the past and really enjoyed them. I was disappointed with this frozen food find. The box describes it as : no fat & reduced fat mozzarella and provolone cheeses, diced tomatoes, roasted peppers & onions, and spinach with creamy basil sauce on Italian bread. At the very worst it would taste like an okay grilled cheese right? Eh, I guess that’s what it was. I tried to eat each side of the sandwich individually first because I am a volume eater, but that didn’t work. It was to plain, so I put the sandwich together. The bread is too thick compared to the sandwich filling and you cannot taste the basil sauce at all. It is just 2 pieces of bread with something inside you can’t really make out. I did like that it takes a while to eat because the bread is pretty thick. I don’t think I would get this one again. Overall I give it 2 chilies ,,

Nutrition information : 1 panini, 310 calories, 4.5g fat, 6g fiber, 23g protein.
