I think the title speaks for itself!

Today I did an easy 4.75 miles. It was supposed to be 5, but the last quarter mile was all uphill and it was supposed to be an easy run because I have a long run tomorrow.

Massive Dogs!!! I was running along this morning when I saw a massive dog on the path ahead of me! I freaked out! Until I realized it was a deer. There aren’t deer where I come from (but there are always loose dogs!) so it was completely new to me. Ha. I got so scared!

I wanted to wait until I got to work to eat breakfast so I just refueled after my run with a protein shake and a few handfuls of Shredded Oats.DSCN0748It turned out green because I put a handful of spinach in it!DSCN0752I’m still trying to figure out how to post up my training plan…will be up soon!

Ha! That’s so funny you saw a deer. I see them all the time. Sometimes I see turkeys. If you run into one of those watch out – those suckers are MEAN!

I’ve seen lots of deer in the places I’ve lived but never on a run…back yard yes…run no. However Hunni and I did see a small black bear on a run once. I thought it was a big ugly dog but freaked when I realized it was a bear. I quickly found a way around it and haven’t been that way on the trail since. SCARY!

I live in Massachusetts and see deer when I run all the time. I wish I could run with a camera so I could snap a few pictures, but I’d probably drop it and I’d look a little weird running with a camera. I’m looking forward to the Intuitive Eating challenge that you wrote about in the last post. I’m going to try to put the practices into my own diet as well. It should be interesting!

It is destined to be a great day when you see Bambi on your morning run. All you needed was Thumper to have a perfect day!
