Happy Halloween! Are you ready for candy?

I mean, to give out candy…

halloween candy

Busted.

I don’t know why but I was extra hungry yesterday so I knew I needed a substantial snack situation. Since Cabot recently hooked me up with delicious cheese and I had the idea for a Halloween inspired sandwich I made a Jack o’lantern Grilled Cheese!

And this is how I’m spending tonight… I’m trying to keep it chill since I’ve been going out a lot lately and have a very busy weekend ahead!!

Oh my gosh! I love that you have a watermelon costume! I’m going to a Halloween party tonight, going to my aunt’s tomorrow to make vegan chocolate mousse and help her with a blanket she is making and then doing a 5k on Sunday. I’m tired just thinking about all of it!

my fave candy is dark chocolate (preferably with almonds, but i won’t turn it down without). not into gummy or fruity or chewy candy at alllll — must be choco based, and even then i’m choosey. i know. i know. i’d do better if they gave out mini bottles of wine.

I am going to a Christmas farmers market this weekend – it is perfectly acceptable to shop for Christmas once Halloween is over!

I don’t know what my favorite candy is. I really like those green apple lollipops with caramel – do they still make those because I want one!

How is it that I lived in Irvine for 2 years and never knew there was a turkey trot in town??? I’ve always just done the Dana Point one – probably because it is so big! 😀

Completing my last “long run” – really not that long – before next weekend’s half. And of course watching the NYC marathon!

I’ll be eating all of the candy at work tomorrow (I love candy corn!!!!) and watching Garfield’s Halloween Adventure during my lunch break, cause that’s how I roll on Halloween. And on Saturday I’ll be running the Carrera de los Muertos 5k, which I’m super excited about running this year.

I am going to SD this weekend and I am pretty excited about it. Get to see family. I love Halloween candy but it can be boring after eating too much of it too fast. So I know I can always count on my Mexican candy to hold down the fort!
