Hello! I made myself a delicious and healthy Valentine’s Day treat yesterday and now they’re all gone. That’s because it was made out of my favorite food = WATERMELON.

Healthy Valentine’s Day Treats:

1. Watermelon Hearts (because I <3 watermelon)

All you need:

Watermelon and a heart shaped cookie cutter.

I found this heart shaped cookie cutter at Target.

I sliced the watermelon and cut out the hearts (while trying not to eat them).

Bonus: You also get to eat the leftover pieces!

2. Fruit dipped in yogurt with sprinkles.

Bonus points if you find pink strawberry or raspberry yogurt.

3. Strawberries dipped in dark chocolate or whipped PB (or nutella).

4. Heart Shaped Pancakes – breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

Show the person you love (or yourself) some extra attention with a delicious and heart shaped breakfast.

5. CHOCOLATE! But, individually wrapped chocolates. Yes. I am a HUGE fan of chocolate.

I don’t know about you but I am a chocolate monster when I get a box of my favorite candy (picture me at the cookie monster, but with chocolate).

      Does Froyo count? If I minus the toppings? 😉 I don’t really have a treat that I prefer, cause I shouldn’t eat treats… :S

I know this sounds strange but I love avocado for a snack and maybe low fat cheese and crackers

Watermelon hearts?!?!?! ADORABLE!!! I love the idea of the sprinkles on the yogurt also. Anything with sprinkles is good in my book!

I really wish I liked watermelon, but alas, all melons taste horrible to me. I may just skip down to the chocolate. I love chocolate covered fruits, especially cherries. They are dangerous.

That box of See’s candy of nuts and chews is my favorite!!! Right now I’m loving Cookie Dough Quest Bars. I could be healthier and make my own bars, but I’m to lazy for that right now.

I actually look forward to my morning apple and peanut butter. Occasionally, I buy a Costco box of Nature Valley Sweet & Salty peanut granola bars and I have those as treats. I think I see a peanut butter trend here 🙂

My favorite healthy treat right now is a smoothie I make using unsweetened almond milk, banana, kale and PB2. I substitute the kale with beet greens sometimes and it’s just as good.

My favorite healthy treat right now is Oranges and Strawberries, because the oranges are just falling off the trees right now here in Florida and it’s Strawberry Season, YES! The strawberry festival is coming soon. All the strawberries, yes please.

My favorite healthy treat is banana “soft serve” with almond butter. It’s better than ice cream and doesn’t make me feel like crap / guilty afterward. SO GOOD!

The watermelon! Genius! I’m going to do this! Awesome! I was tasked with dessert. Boyfriend is making the main course.

      Thank you!!!
Healthy? I don’t know that language. Ok well lately I rediscovered peanut butter on apples. I guess that’s a healthy snack.
