Run Eat Repeat

Hello, 911 I Can’t Stop Eating

What Runners Eat

12 Mar

Hello! How are you doing today? I feel like a busy lil bear because I have some extra projects this week. It’s all good stuff though!

But, I am concerned that I’ll have to call 911 to make me stop eating this ice cream. I am an eating machine. I wonder if Ben & Jerry’s is hiring taste testers…

(Not so) Fun Fact: I’ve already eaten out all the chocolate chunks from the ice cream. So now I need to go out and buy chocolate chips to add to this. I’m the only one who’s eating this so it’s not gross, just sad…

In happy news… Vegas is very happily getting his fur on everything and anything he can find. I caught him rolling around in Ben’s suitcase. At this point I’m kinda considering lint rolling him directly…

Hey, it could be worse…

oh no

Before my run this morning I drank half a Suja green juice. So good.

Then, went for a sweaty run. It is getting HOT here. I am legit concerned about this weekend’s super hot LA Marathon. Ah! (Check out this post for tips and updates on running the LA Marathon in this week’s heat.)

I am planning on walking through aide stations and stopping to smell the flowers a bit on the race course though. Like today when I spotted this beauty…

After my run I had more green juice and a delicious egg/tortilla/cheese/cholula combo. It was delicious!

And if you missed it, check out the French Cinnamon Toast Crunch Recipe on the Eggland’s post! It’s amazing and I’ve been dreaming out making it again every since.

Question: What’s one food that is hard for you to eat in moderation?

When was the last time you had a GREEN Juice?

I was gonna say pizza, then I read Jillie’s comment. Mint Oreos are pretty killer, too.

Ice cream! I just literally CANNOT keep it in the house. If I do, it’s gone in a matter of a few days (or less ha). I don’t even think it’s that great but it’s more of a comfort food that I just like to eat at night before bed (which makes it all the more ridiculous that I’m addicted to a food that i don’t even LOVE!).

Omg…so glad I am not the only ‘picker’! If I eat something like that Ice cream or a snack mix, or even assorted nuts, I pick through and eat the pieces in a certain order or only eat certain kinds/pieces. My husband gets so mad at me! He will look at me looking into the canister and say “Don’t Pick!”, lol. But, he rolls with it…sometimes he will go to get some snack mix with only corn chips left in it!

I can’t stop eating things like potato chips or snack mix once I start. It is so addicting!

I have a green smoothie 5 days of the week for breakfast.

I cannot stop myself on crackers, cereal, popcorn, sunflower seeds….. I could go on!

That lady really eats cat hair? I love Doritos. Know what’s sad? Doritos are probably harder for the body to digest than cat hair. 🙁

Haha, cat hair just gets everywhere! It is amazing how a small animal can have so much hair. Good luck this weekend in the LA marathon!

Since you’ll be walking water stations, hopefully I’ll run fast enough to see you for once! 4:15-4:30 pace. Walk REALLY slow thru those aid stations girl 🙂

Dried fruit and nuts – before I know it, I’ve eaten a whole (giant sized) bag. Dangerous!

I had a green juice two days ago, and I think I might get one for lunch now!

Cereal. It doesn’t matter what kind, I just can’t stop. I’ve actually never had a green juice! I’ve had green monster smoothies but it’s been a few months.

I have a green smoothie every morning so I guess I would say some hours ago.

Lately I have been having a hard time eating Medjool dates and almond butter in moderation. It’s too much!

ICE CREAM. There are very few things that give me trouble, but ice cream is at the top of the list, followed by crispy cookies, chocolate covered nuts and other things that can be crushed up and added to the ice cream. I told myself no more ice cream in the house. That night was a very sad night. I only made it one day without ice cream ;( I am getting much better though at self control…most nights.

I was just thinking about warm chocolate chip cookies! I’d call this a coincidence, but I probably think about them a lot.
