Merry Christmas!!! I just wanted to say ‘Hi’ and wish you the happiest holiday ever. Sending lots of love. xoxo
And to give you a quick peek into what I’m doing… at the eleventh hour I agreed to head out to Florida for Christmas. It was the allure of the hot weather that sealed the deal. You know me, a fair weather friend every time. So, I caught a red eye flight to Tampa.

Even though I have my red eye flight procedure down to a science, I still had a very crappy few hours of sleep. My connecting flight was only 3.5 hours and I just couldn’t get comfortable. Boo.

I landed in Tampa around 6:30am and Ben was waiting for me at the gate. All romantic like.
From there we hit up a Dunkin Donuts and headed to the Children’s Hospital. Ben’s 12 week old niece is in the hospital with RSV. She’s a lot better now, but for a while there she was completely hooked up to devices that helped her breathe and eat. It was very scary and sad.

We spent a good amount of time there with the baby and catching up with J and B. They are awesome and have been handling this entire situation amazingly.
Then, we headed to the parents’ house and we were greeted with so much food. I love it.

After a quick raid of the fridge I headed to the store for a few must haves. This wasn’t a ‘must have’ but I considered it…

On that note…
Happy Birthday Jesus.

Question: On a scale of 1 to 10 where are you on the tiredness scale?
Me: 100.
So glad to hear that your niece is ok…must be tough for everyone to have a baby in the hospital, especially during Xmas.
I tried to read this yesterday, but I kept getting an error message. Not sure what server error there was, but today I get to read it for real. As of the 24th, I was at 10.9 on the tired scale. Yesterday was more peaceful and I actually got in a nap. Today I am focusing on recovery, so I am not going to really have the chance to be tired. I’m glad to hear the baby is feeling better (saw your Merry Christmas post already). That’s so scary!!! Have a wonderful time in Florida!
Merry Christmas Monican!
