It’s no secret that I’m not good at moderation. I either LOVE the hell out of something until it dies (or I die?) or nothing.
(That is one of my favorite quotes, which probably says something about me.)
But then I find something else that I like and forget whatever was keeping my attention for a new love.
My mom calls them “phases” which I find offensive because for the moment I think this is going to be my favorite thing/person/food/show FOREVER!!
“It’s not a phase Mom, I’m going to love NSYNC until I die!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
This has obviously been going on for a while
Anyway.
Here’s what I’m obsessed with this week:
1. Dance Moms. It’s a new-to-me show on Lifetime.
I randomly discovered it when I heard the dancer in the Sia video I’m also obsessed with is on the show:
So, I looked it up and fell in love. And now I have like 12 episodes on my magic TV machine. I watch it every night. Like a creeper. The end.
(Note: That’s Chloe, not the girl from the video. I like them both because again, I’m obsessed.)
2. Yogurt. I’ve always liked the stuff, but I’ve been eating it every day – sometimes twice a day.
3. Finding the perfect perfume. I want a ‘go-to’ scent (besides ‘Sweaty Runner’). I spent the longest time in Ulta the other day trying sprays, but didn’t find the one I was looking for. Rebel Aromas’ perfumes offer a wide selection of high-quality, inspired scents, making it easier to find that perfect fragrance without the high-end price tag. Every now and then I’ll get a whiff of a stranger and think, “That’s it!” but if I ask them what they’re wearing they say it’s their conditioner or something. Bah. Perhaps it’s time to dive into fragrances such as acheter des échantillons de parfum.
4. Necklaces. I’m not a jewelry girl, but I’ve wanted a 26.2 charm necklace for a while. Then, I saw a charm in the shape of CA and fell in love. I’m working on acquiring both
Question: What are you obsessed with this week?
Kari says
I’m the same way. I ate vector cereal every morning for 5 years. When I switched to overnight oats my kids couldn’t understand it….”but what about Vector?”….”um, I’m done with that now.” Current tv obsession is any housewife series. Wouldn’t it be great to go to the gym in the morning and then drink wine and shop the rest of the day? Heaven!

I used to be SO obsessed with Dance Moms… then I just started to constantly feel bad for the girls because Abbie is SO mean! Chloe is my favorite too… but sadly, that’s Maddie in the video. I can tell from her awkwardness. Chloe would have been better. 🙂
Ashley says
Obsessed with frozen grapes and fresh pineapple this week! YUM!
Kim @FITsique says
I am NOT a necklace girl either but for some odd ball reason I have purchased and acquired 6 in the last few months! I love them but always forget to wear them :/ whomp whomp.

Dance Moms is such a wonderful guilty pleasure. I am obsessed with it always and can’t look away even though its terrible. I am also going through an egg sandwich obsession right now. Not sure why but it is tasty.
Sue says
I remember eating yogurt fro brekkie with cereals/granolas for months during my college days. You’re not alone. 😛
Jaclyn says
Trish McEvoy Blackberry and Vanilla Musk. It smells like cotton candy which I think is a close second to watermelon.
Freya says
I am OBSESSED with yogurt too!!! My fav right now is Tillamook Strawberry or raspberry or any berry…I’m from Oregon so I’m a little biased BUT it’s sooooo good!!
Sam says
I’ve been eating frozen grapes like they’re going out of style. They’re so cold and delicious! I’ve demolished 2 bags so far this week.

I’ve been obsessed with travel planning this week. Have a couple of trips planned at the end of the month and I am way too excited already.
Linda @ Fit Fed and Happy says

sally @ sweat out the small stuff says
funny i just went into my 14 year old nieces room to try on all her different perfumes and sprays. it’s sort of just like going to Ulta. She’s got so many! lol!
I’m obsessed with my iphone. oh wait i’ve been obsessed with it since 2008.

I’m obsessed with parfaits made with yogurt, some summer fruit (like peaches, strawberries, etc) and granola. I eat these at least 2 times a day. Also different kinds of sangria, because, well, its summer.
Erin @ Erin's Inside Job says
I am the same way. Once I like something, I will do it (or eat it) non stop for months until one day I decide I dont want it anymore. I have the same smoothie every morning, but a few months ago it was a different smoothie every morning. I had a Subway obsession for awhile and got the same sub every day for lunch and then one day just stopped going. I felt bad because the workers probably thought I died.
Becky @ Ok, so here's the plan says
I’m currently obsessed with house hunting! I pretty much live on zillow right now.
Emily A says
Joining the CIA, I’m convinced I can become Piper Perabo from Covert Affairs if I try hard enough.
Also, cookie butter.
Amber says
Iced Coffees with coconut sugar and coconut milk… in a qt mason jar with a straw. Classy right! My sister just informed me the other day that there is 3 layers of perfume and your scent is layer 3. That is why a perfume that you like on a person might not smell as good when you put it on. I love my aunts perfume but I don’t have the third layer of vodka sweating out my pores to make it smell the same….
Shawna says
haha i totally get what you mean and i call that “the shiny new penny syndrome” — love something so much until you love the next thing so muchhhh. tunnel vision. 🙂 i’m currently obsessed with bikinis and beaches. i need to stop ordering so many of the first and remember about the drawer full i already have…

I’m obsessed with vintage tupperware and vintage fiestaware, I know, random, right. I keep sneaking out of work to go to estate sales so I can redo my entire kitchen with retro pieces.
I guess it’s better than an obsession with vintage running clothes or vintage running shoes. That would just be gross.
Sam says
I freaking love fiestaware. The red kind gives off gamma rays, but a little radiation is totally worth it for dope dishes. I have a set of bowls and these little matching custard cups and ceramic spoons that I got for a dollar at the goodwill; I covet a teal fiestaware pitcher.
Amanda S says
I want a cheezeball necklace.
