Lunch Time???

Lunch

FacebookTweetPin
20 May

I woke up crazy early this morning when Ben woke up for work, like 4am early.

After he left I went back to sleep for a bit and then got up and checked email (which I am super drowning in). By the time I left for my run I had been up too long and suddenly got SUPER HUNGRY at mile 3. At that point I was a mile away from home so I turned around and headed back.

I wanted to do six miles, but my hunger foiled me and I did four 🙁 Boo.

When I got home I tore into the kitchen like the Tasmanian Devil. I made an egg scramble on a bagel with grapes.

These are dirty grapes because I like to live dangerously 🙂IMG_8132

Laughing Cow + ketchup + hot sauce = my favorite “secret sauce”

Well, now that I told you I guess the secret’s out…IMG_8136

Then, I got straight to work and have been busy ever since. I just realized it’s lunch time! I guess eating breakfast late will push lunch back. I usually want to eat at 11am!

What Time is Lunch for you?

Is the time because of a work or school schedule or your hunger/body??

Im a student so I eat breakfast at 5 am and then head to school, I don’t get to eat until 11:15 and lunch ends at 11:25 so I have to stuff food into my face before the bell rings. Then I go home exhausted and energy-less and I magically break out 6 mile runs. I guess it pays off to be 16.

During the week I don’t eat lunch until 1pm as that is when I get off work (I work part-time). I have coffee with a lot of milk at 6:30 a.m. and then breakfast around 8:30 a.m. and a snack at 10:30 or 11:00 a.m.
I’m always really, really hungry at 1pm, though.

When I’m at work, I usually eat at noon at my desk so I can go walk afterwards. I’m pretty much ALWAYS hungry by noon, so it works.

On the weekends though, I’ve eaten as early as 11 and as late as 2:30-3. It all depends!

i guess it depends on the day. i tend to eat between 12:45 and 2:00 during the day. mostly depends on my schedule. i also tend to push lunch off because i want to get my stuff done before taking a break

I’m ready for lunch at 11:30. Somedays a little earlier but I try to not eat before 11:30.

I eat lunch around 1 usually, later if I can so I’m not snacking my way through the day and ruining my appetite for dinner!

My lunch time changes depending on what I have going on. I work every other day so it shifts between 11 and 1. 11 when I’m at home or 1 when I’m done with work.

I usually eat lunch around noon. If I shower at the gym, I don’t get home until 11:30 or so and sometimes I have to run a quick errand and don’t get home until 12ish.

I eat lunch at about 2pm. I eat a snack at 11am and breakfast around 7:30. I usually have dinner around 6:30 so if I eat at 2 I don’t need an afternoon snack.

It’s usually between 12-1:30 for me depending on the day/when I have time. Dinner is always 6:30 though

I have to eat at 11:10 am (last year it was 10:45!) – I teach first grade and so that’s my only break until the end of the day! I hate having to eat so early when I am not even hungry. On the weekends I eat lunch more like 1 or 2pm.

I work at the front desk of a university admissions office, at least one person has be to present at all times, we have to trade off lunches so I either go at 11:30 or 12:30, I don’t really like not being able to decided when to eat but such is life.

I try to have lunch as late as possible to break up the day at work, and also so I’m not thinking about snacks all afternoon!

Today is a potluck at work so I have no idea what I’m going to eat!
