Merry Christmas!! Happy Happy Happy day!

christmas presents blog (600x800)

So, I kinda sorta drank way waaaaaay to much last night.

Like, boot and rally too much. I felt like a hot mess this morning, but no regrets! It was fun (from what I remember).

getting lit

But, I felt like a yawner all day… like the perros.

Today I gathered all the gifts I bought for my fam and headed to my mom’s.

I have been looking forward to EATING ALL THE FOOD. I haven’t had cool office parties (because I work from home alone hello) or fun friend parties (because I don’t have friends hello). So, I feel like I’ve been missing out on the treats.

And today I was all about the food.

We enjoyed apps and treats while opening presents.

I’ve had my Christmas stocking since I was a baby. One of my mom’s friend’s made it.

And now I’m blogging from my fam’s couch while they all talk VERY LOUDLY around me. We’re loud people. SUPER.

My favorite See’s Candy! I love Christmas – especially because of all the treats around.

Question: What’s the BEST thing you ate today (or yesterday)?

I hope you had a merry Christmas!

The best thing I’ve ate was some homemade fudge that our neighbors brought us. YUM!

Best eats, in a day of good eats, were Gordon Ramsay’s Sublime Scrambled eggs for breakfast. And by sublime, he means totally not low cal, what with the butter and creme fraiche added to the eggs. Definitely not my typical two egg whites+one egg scrambled eggs that I eat the rest of the year. Oh, and there was also bacon, taters, and mimosas, too. ;o)

My grandpa LOVED See’s candy so much from the years they lived in San Francisco! I used to buy a box every year for him. 🙂 Merry Christmas! I hope 2015 is better than 2014!

Working from home sounds lonely.. I guess that’s the negative thing about not going to physical workplace and meeting new people.
At least you have your family nearby. Merry Christmas!

So glad you had a happy Christmas, Monican!
The best thing I had yesterday was the turkey and dressing, hands down. Of course, the turkey is just an excuse to have the dressing (sort of like cake being an excuse to eat the frosting).

My sis-in-law made Mexican for Christmas dinner and her tamales and pesto cilantro quesadillas were phenom! The best thing I ate, though? Gingerbread with lemon sauce…tapping into my mom’s Southern roots. Yum! Merry Christmas!

My favourite part of Christmas dinner was (as always) the glazed ham! And special shout out goes to the Christmas pudding with custard 🙂

Peanut butter balls. While I’m not fighting a hangover, fortunately (?), I do feel like it’s time to clean things up and drink more water and eat less crap. Merry Christmas!
