Mind or Body

Uncategorized

8 May

After a week of bad runs I have to ask myself if it’s in my mind or body?

At first I thought it was all physical – I’ve felt tired and heavy on every run. But, today I realized once I feel physically bad it affects my mind too. The physical and metal aspects are very intertwined because once one goes you have to keep the other strong if you want to get through it.

You have to be even stronger mentally than physically because you can push through if you truly believe you can do it.

Before my run I fueled up with coffee and PB&J toast.IMG_7842

After my run I came home and made a protein shake.IMG_7848

Right now I just had an egg sandwich because I was craving salt and eggs. Random.

I am on a mission for frozen yogurt today 🙂

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

I was determined to find frozen yogurt yesterday too!! A google search turned up slim pickin’s in the area but we were headed to Annapolis and figured there would be a place among the shops. There was, but by the time we found it we were full from lunch. We ended up at TCBY, which has never been my favorite. It was too sweet, and now my craving continues!

I hope you found some yummy fro-yo. I wish we had a good place for that around here! We used to have a Red Mango, but it got replaced with a Ben and Jerry’s. Ugh!

Agreed.. bad runs might start with a small physical issue that turn into HUGE mental ones! I hate that!

And I’m on a fro yo mission, too. I just want my husband on board!
