More Toe News & Eat I 1/16/2009

This morning my toe felt a lot better, it’s not back to “normal”, but it’s not throbbing in pain so I’m happy. See my jacked up big toe on the right compared to my non-injured toe on the left – there is a blue hue under my nail. This ghetto camera doesn’t really show how creepy blue it looks, kind of like your tongue after you eat a blue blowpop. Sick. foodies-13871

The nail is definately going to jump ship and I know they take a lot time to grow back. Remember when I climbed Half Dome this summer and the BF lost his nail? Well, it is barely looking normal- and that was in August!!! Seriously his nail looked super tragic for months! Luckily, the nail place I go to has a great team and I know they can find a way to cover it up if needed for the wedding 😉

P.S. – My nails look so good because I just went to get a pedicure on Wednesday. I am not always this well kept, but I am glad I went since I didn’t realize I was going to be posting pics of my big ol’ feet all over the internet.

In other news I had oatmeal today when I got to work. I am trying to get here earlier on Fridays so I can leave earlier. foodies-1385

i was gonna say, at least you have a cute looking pedicure. i have a couple black toenails and blisters and all that funk and desperately need a pedicure but i feel so bad for the lady who’s going to have to do it!

your feet are WAY too pretty to be a runner’s feet 😉

j/k! seriously though, my feet are HIDEOUS (especially compared to yours) and i would never dare post such a close-up. and i consider myself lucky because i’ve been relatively free of blisters, etc.

    good luck with the toe!

(oh and be careful w/the pedicures … i stupidly let the aesthetician take off one of my calluses one time, ended up getting a huge ugly blister in that spot … never again!)
