Morning Hunger

Happy Cookie Friday! How about a quadruple stuffed Oreo? (from Natalie Dee).way-more-stuffed-than-any-other

I woke up a little hungry this morning – which never happens! Weird, but good I guess since it means I didn’t eat too much last night.

I did some strength traing in the lviing room before hitting up the apartment gym for elliptical time. But, when I got there both ellipticals were being used 🙁 (One of them was being used by Ben who has been working out 5 days a week!) I walked on the treadmill for 10 minutes until someone got off. Then, I did 20 minutes switching front/back 🙂

I can’t get enough cereal lately (big surprise I know). I had a big bowl with mixed cereals, soymilk, naner and PB.DSCN1981Extra PB on the naner 🙂DSCN1982

Question: Do you wake up hungry? If so, do you eat right away or workout/shower/other morning stuff first??

I usually don’t wake up hungry. I need to curb the nighttime munchies because it has become habit to snack at night. I would prefer to wake up hungry.

It depends on what was going on the night before. Last night, for example, I didn’t eat dinner until 9 p.m. because of class, and I ended up feeling sick this morning. I didn’t eat that much – I’m just not good at eating before I go to bed.

eh it depends on when i get up. my early bird running sessions? not usually but when i “sleep in” yup. i think when i get up so early my brain just isn’t registering anything so i am likely hungry but my brain isn’t on 🙂

Not usually. I have a calcium supplement when I get out of the shower to tide me over, but I’m never really starving.

I’m always hungry for breakfast….. in fact if I don’t eat breakfast soon enough it seem to throw off my day. Crazy huh?

I usually wake up pretty hungry, and it’s a good thing cuz most days it’s the only the thought of food than makes me get out of bed at all! P.S. I NEED that oreo!

    I love Natalie Dee comics!

I aaaalways wake up ready to gnaw my arm off! I HAVE to eat something immediately. I think my stomach just doesn’t sleep while the rest of me does. I usually have to eat something right before bed so I don’t wake up at 3am ready for a meal!

Only if I sleep in really late do I ever wake up hungry, or if I stayed up really late without eating.

Evan – no fiber in that oreo, only happiness 🙂

I wake up hungry but I usually wait until after I’ve showered to eat. Sometimes I wait up to an hour after I woke up. I am mostly just too lazy first thing in the morning.

I try to eat enough right before going to bed that I’m not hungry when I wake up for my run. That oreo is super-stuffed, probably not on fiber though, haha

I usually don’t wake up hungry, probably as a result of too much dinner and/or nighttime snacking. Since I’m trying to lose 10 lbs, I’m working on lighter dinners & no nighttime snacks and have been pleased to find that I’m waking up hungry. It’s nice to eat breakfast because of hunger & not simply because it’s “breakfast time” 🙂

I am usually hungry. I never used to be but now that I’m a morning runner I have to eat. I didn’t eat before I ran this morning and totally lost steam. 🙁 Not to self- EAT something before I run. 🙂 I wait for a “real breakfast” for after I shower.

I don’t usually wake up hungry, but the husband and I like to eat breakfast together, so I eat with him. This morning I was really hungry, but I think that was because I wasn’t too full from dinner last night.

I hardly ever wake up hungry. I usually have to wait until about 9 am to eat breakfast.

I often wake up hungry. But, my routine is to shower and feed the pups before eating – at least on week days.
