My last protein shake was earlier today, as soon as I finished my run. Always has to be chocolate for me 🙂

I haven’t had a smoothie in about a year! I actually remember. My Jeep broke down and it was a hot summer day. By the time I got it towed to the mechanic and walked home about 3 miles I was so thirsty. I had frozen mango in the freezer. I tossed it in the blender with red gatorade (don’t judge) and a little rum (again, don’t judge) and I quenched my thirst and numbed the pain of the aggravation all at once. Ahhh, memories. i miss the jeep but not the breakdowns.

Smoothie: not since college so…9 or 10 years?
      Protein Shake: never
Oreo Blast from Sonic: never. This is the only one I’m sad about! No Sonic where I live.

It’s super random there was no Sonics around where I grew up (around 40 miles north) but one just down the way from me now. I didn’t try it until I moved to Orange county.

I had a protein smoothie yesterday. We have no AC at work, so I’m sitting with 3 fans on me and thought that a nice smoothie would help cool me down a bit-it worked!

I think my last protein shake was 2 days ago for a late night snack instead of eating too many cookies. It definitely worked to help curb my raging sweet tooth. I LOVE the new Quest PB protein powder. I mixed it with oatmeal and put sliced strawberries in it. It tasted like pb&j (kind of, obviously there is no sub for the real deal) 🙂

I haven’t had a smoothie in forever but now that the summer heat is really hitting I think I’ll be whipping some up!

just curious- is the lack of review on the taste of the protein shake intentional? (aka it did not taste good but you got it for free so you didn’t want to say anything haha)

I’m looking for a new protein powder and was hoping this would be a bit more informative 😉

Ha! No, I really liked it. I want to try the other flavors before I really give a full review. Mostly I want to try the PB one 🙂

I have pretty much all the Quest protein powders. They are good…however, the PB and Vanilla ones are heavenly. I heard the Caramel one was amazing as well.

I’ve had SO many protein shakes in the past week! I’m trying to up my calorie intake and drinking protein (as well as PBJ on toast) seems to be the best way 😀

I’ve moved away from protein shakes/supplements (which I usually have after my workouts) to homemade energy bars instead.

I’d be really interested in making homemade protein bars, I just need to summon the energy- I’m so lazy after my long runs!
